Big improvement over x10. Good camera, speaker and touch response. Very good backlit lcd when you watching photos & youtobe but narrow viewing angle. Call quality ok and noise cancellation works ok but clairity is just average. All other features with 2.3 work fine. Overall 8.5 out of 10.

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2011Surely this should feature HSPA+ with 14.4 Mbps downloads? ... moreMSM8255 supports HSPA Cat10 (up to 14.4 Mbps), but SE uses HSPA Cat8 (7.2 Mbps) for download and Cat6 (5.76 Mbps) uploading.

For guys in India, the black/blue variant is already available in flipkart for about Rs 28500. I had pre-ordered and recd a call from them yesterday stating that it will be shipped on April 1st. But, am having second thoughts as it seems that xperia pro is better suited for my requirements. Problem is there is no information as to when this will get launched.

Surely this should feature HSPA+ with 14.4 Mbps downloads? The Qualcomm MSM8255 supports it, but yet it's not in the specs!!!!!!!

Look to me like it another x10 with larger screen. I remember what a very bad support device sony had provided for end user, OS 1.6, no Multitouch, trying to sell us with cheap single touch zoom, slow and lagging function, promises on promises of update but never come until over a year later, still on 2.1 when every other android devices is on 2.2 or 2.3, stupid timescape, Sony UI which no one really want, bad bad bad company. Stay well away from it.

yeah, nobody uses video calling anyway, so there's really no need for the front cam...
