Xperia Blog: Sony Ericsson UK is planning its biggest marketing campaign for over two years when the new Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY and Xperia Neo launch next week. SE plans to spend £4m overall, the bulk of which will be used to focus on the Xperia PLAY.The adverts will run across all mediums including online, TV, press and outdoor. It will also see a cover-wrap for the London edition of the free Metro newspaper that will point people towards an Xperia PLAY themed showroom in London’s West End. If you’re wondering around London, you may also come across some branded rickshaws.The company plans to increase itsdigital marketing spend from 25% to 40% of the total campaign spend. pages of Facebook, YouTube and Gamespot on 31 March. Looks like Sony Ericsson aren’t taking any chances with thenew Xperia launch. All three phones launch next week.

Paul, 24 Mar 2011How much User memory is there, sony ericsson website says u... more380MB ROM confirmed! maybe not :P Xperia Blog: Ericsson itself was not beingconsistent in stating what the internal memory (ROM) was for the Xperia arc. Across a number of official sites, the ROM was reported as anything between 380MB to 1GB. However, Swedroid has confirmed that the Xperia arc comes with 380MB ROM and 512MB RAM. ..... Update:As pointed out in the comments, it looks like the app used to determine the ROM size (Android System Info) does not reveal the total internal memory, just the amount available to the end user. Given that the Xperia X10 has 465MB of free internal memory according to the app, it is feasible that the Xperia arc also comes with a 1GB ROM.

This is what one of the Arc buyers thinks about the device, it really seems he's very satisfied and happy with it! So if any of you are wondering what Arc customers think about this phone than keep reading :
Main headlines :
1- Very fast and smooth UI
2- Brilliant and gorgeous display
3- The size of the phone is very comfortable even for small hands.
4- the place of the 3.5mm is a plus and not a minus!
5- The camera is good but he though it would perform better under low light conditions.
6- battery is still under testing

Arc got launched in japan! Xperia Blog: Today marks the launch day of the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc in the first country, Japan. The Xperia arc (SO-01C) went on sale today across outlets nationwide. It is the first handset to be compatible with DoCoMo’s new high-speed downlink service, scheduled to launch in HSDPA service areas in June. Some users have already bought the arc and posted someinitial impressions. Other regions including the UK are set to see theXperia arc launch next week.
