i love sony ericsson, when i look at the xperia arc i think it might be my next mobile. later i realized it has no video calling facility....not going to buy it. think galaxy S is better

Yes SE phone have look but they are the worst when it come to update like the x10 I am using now they stop update 2.2 froyo just 11 month, now x10 user have to live with limited internal space for apps, no web flash support.
SE have give a lame answer of 2.1 is in par with 2.2. When ppl at XDA have show froyo is batter.
So
I not buying SE till they get act right. Hey that me. But I wish anyone good luck if u buy SE Arc.

i have front facing cam on my presemt phone... But its kind of useless... Coz i rarely do vedio call..
And if and wen req. I need vedio call to show caller what i a able to see.... Some location event... Etc etc. For that purpose i have to turn the phone... Really i think camera om the back is perfect for my needs...

They r talking abt some mysterious phone which resembles to Xperia Play acc. to their question but this phone has been already announced & the creepy thumb ad is also official, so why r they asking this question... ?

(or six), Sony Ericsson put front camera ... moreyou may be right, I rememberber when the NOKIA 6630 came out & then the 6680.With the 6630 you had to buy an accessory which was some sort of modified periscope to use video call & see the person. The 6680 had an secondary camera.
Now I DO know the the S/E Vivaz can make video calls but you can't see the person you are talking to as it has only one camera. this may be able to make video calls but has no 2ndary camera.

(or six), Sony Ericsson put front camera for video call on their certain models, but no one asked about its function or how to use that tiny little thing to make video calling. After five years (or six), they think no one would ever need it...
Sony Ericsson - is 5 years (or six) ahead.

I have 3G phone with secondary camera since years ago, but I haven't used the videocall feature at all. I think videocall is just for mom or dad who work far away from their children so when they miss their kids they can use the feature to speak with their kids face by face.

Arak, 07 Feb 2011yes they didArak, don't forget that Android CAN support 12 MP camera sensor. The Eclair CAN support such a sensor, then how about the newest version? :) In Japan there is a Toshiba(at NTT Docomo), just visit their site.

hi guys ,, this arc was good edition in ceel phones worls but it lacks front camera to make videos calls, all the charm gone, aah i wi ll never buy and advise it to anyone.. why they didnt oncldue secondary camm fools in the world of technology

you can't doubt on functionality n features of an Android based mobile phone.. they are great and Sony Ericsson is a company launching variations in there mobile phones as time goes.. Bravia engine is great amoungst all video engines! it's a bit more complicated wid extra features bit but trust it must be a great launch... wait for first 6 months after it's launched and go for it if u doubt my word of mouth.. hope this helps.. cheers bud!
