Loading..., 15 Jan 2011i agree with you . and i think 1Ghz is enought for ANDROI... moreDear friends

yes, 1ghz is enough for android 2.3 and 3.0
but 2ghz will make is faster, and 1gb RAM even more for multi tasking,in some rumors they say that 512mb RAM is not enough to run 3.0

    Its like this

even intel 300Mhz 128 RAM is enough to run Windows XP,
but how will XP Run on a dual core?

not only you need just to run it, you need to s0me more to do at its best,

For example you might run the 2.3 or 3.0 OS on the phone but you won't be able to some run future applets
    Limit you mutitasking ability,

SE was lagging behind last year with the X10.

only stupid people would they think that SE is still lagging with the Arc.

                  dual cores are just gimmick.
                  not now.

Pavel, 15 Jan 2011Where did you get information about Xperia NEO,or it is jus... morewell, concerning the Xperia Neo i have a reason to believe it will be the SE flagship phone for this year.
Arc is a high-end product that should count for most of the sales of SE (the price tag won't be astronomic), but the Neo should be the real spec'd up beast.

I'm pretty sure it will have a dual core chip and the Snapdragon MSM8260 is the first logical option.

Now, the question still remains about the 16MP camera..whether it will be incorporated in the Neo or perhaps in the possible Satio sucessor.

It's not that SE doesn't have the technology or means to make it possible - it's that fine balance of making the right-sized and priced handset.
Putting it all together would make the phone too big and expensive.

My guess is that the Neo will have a dual core, 4.2 inch screen, 2 cameras and a bigger memory storage, while their future 16MP android will probably have a smaller screen and limited internal memory, to make space for the large camera sensor.
Also, the processor of 16MP SE could be 1.2/1.5 ghz single core instead of a dual core.

Optimus 2X is sub-par with 2400 score? It's 5 percent difference in something that most users will never even notice or think about in real life usage!

Anyway, just wait the new Galaxy S 2 and Xperia Neo in less then a month and then shove your "superphones".
Galaxy 2 will put a new 1.2 ghz hummingbird dual core under the hood, while Xperia Neo will bring the new 1.2 ghz dual core Snapdragon(MSM8260, already premiered in Asus ee pad) . Oh and it will have 16mp exmor camera(first put on sony ericsson S006) too.

Motorola's duo will have the show lights for a month and then be left in the dust. You can bet on that.
