yes atrix and optimus has better cpu and ram but how about camera-design-display-battery life?i think a phone should be good in every aspect like arc that has beautiful design&excellent camera&design and latest android version and excellent UI and a very good processor(not better than tegra 2 but still a very good one)

Well well well what have we got here a bunch of idiots that think that specs of a PHONE are important just think why is nokia at the top for so long they succesfully are selling cheap phones in big quantaties. Another thing why would you go for any dual core cpu just yet they are going to be useless in the begging as there would only be a few apps on the market utilizing the two cores, also most of todays benchmarks are not what they are because of the cpu but the gpu as a proof just go and check what tegra 2's gpu does against samsung's year old hummingbird gpu unit it still cant touch it funny heh you moto fans were saying that sony ericsson arc is so 2010 when your specs haven't even improved on what the worlds best pieces of kit were and guess what samsung says they will bring out a gpu 5x the power of the one found in the hummingbird unit so you will feel like fools because you rushed to get something that would not be the best performer in half a year the adreno 205 gpu has rather good specs but its slightly worse than tegra 2 gpu you know its not all just numbers you have to choose between a company which is not In a desperarte move to save home turf because when iphone releases to verizon the main network for moto phones your company will get into some huge shit dont get me wrong I have the iphone but not as huge passion as moto phones cos honestly I dont remember anytime that I liked your devices. Atm i'm a htc fan so dont think i'm attacking either company but I think that sony is waiting for the right moment to put the st ericsson 8500 cpu in their devices which could be a really wise move thank you if you read my analysis respect to all :) dont blame me if there are some phrases you cant undertand as i'm using a feature phone's t9 and I dont look at the display

most high end smartphone nowadays have front camera for video calling, this phone doesnt so hopefully it will not be that expensive as compared to samsung galaxy s or iphone 4. SE should sell this at same price as nokia n8 especially since it is not even a dual core phone. that way i can afford to buy it! :)

I don't know what's about the sudden rush for dual core phones. A phone is still a phone. Why do you need dual core phones, if the battery will be much affected? I've seen this phone's demo video and I see no need for dual core as long as the ui is fluid and doesn't hamper usability . And this phone really rocks in the looks department. I'm sold.

Gsmarena says that the Arc's screen is better than the screen of the Desire HD. The Desire HD has a Super LCD screen which is also good. Of course that the Super Amoled screen is better, but the Arc' screen is very good as well. The Bravia engine is good, and I believe in that.

it gets ridiculous when they actually believe the LCD display is better than a superamoled one. it cant compare, due to the nature of the technology.
the funny bit is the 'bravia engine' bit. that's just the name for a bit of code which controls the colour output settings. it means nothing

Let us be faith and bring a good jugment. Arc still in 2011 but this hardware it's the futur while mobile phone much full computers.

This phone could have been released mid 2010 and it wouldnt have been groundbreaking. it doesnt bring anything new to android, so why are so many people excited?

Ive had really good luck with my x10 and i will continue to use SE products, i like them, i dont doubt that motorola is one of the best cell phone manufacturers but all of this trolling and arguing is just non-sensical. Everyone has had and has not had a phone that works for them, this phone appeals to me, the Atrix may appeal to other, whatever works for the consumer! Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion but geez take it elsewhere and just be stoked on how far technology really has come! If we put any of you guys in the forest with a hatchet, call me when you make a perfect cellphone. Yes, not all cellphones are perfect nor will they ever be, until they come close, just be excited on your personal preference, hate is not necessary. Open your mind a little is all im saying.

He friends, remember X10 ? before this phone is really released all other brands will work on Androit 3.xx SE fooled me with their X10 for which they provided an Androit update to 2.1 with months delay and on a time all phones used 2.2 already and for which they will not release any further update anymore. Bye bye SE....I went back to HTC

The Atrix is the BEST battery phone in the world. Maybe the new generation Snapdragon will be that good, but when SE will make their first device with it, then Moto will have even better phones. If you start something in time, you will have a BIG future. Motorola started it in time. The Atrix 2 will have features you never seen before.
SE is very good at making phones with great camera and great screen. The Bravia engine is awesome. The Arc has a better screen than the Desire HD!! Motorola has more experience at making smart phones, this is my opinion. Sorry if I hurt somebody.

About the design, SE now makes cooler phones than Moto. Moto made some cool phones back then. I am not just a SE fan. By the way I don't want to be a blind fan. I am analyzing all the high end phones, and then I will tell my opinion. I like the Arc, I like the Atrix as well, I like the Defy(because it is waterproof and it has quote good design 4 me). I know that Motorola had better sales in 2009 than SE, the same happened last year. I think that Motorola will have even bigger profit this year, because of their Atrix, Milestone 2 and Droid Bionic.
