SE announced only this phone yet, and with poor specs again, thats why they do this, tell all the lies.
They will say that SE phones single core processors are faster than other dual cores,

The vanilla version phone should perform much better but this time a customised android phone performs much better & that's se.

abhi, 07 Jan 2011Did u see sony ericsson x10 mini / mini pro's benchmark res... moreThe reason the mini and mini pro performed so well in the benchmark tests was bcos of the low resolution. The droid had the same speed CPU but a higher resolution which is why it did worse. Also they were running different versions of android. As a result the mini was dealing with 65k colors and the droid was with 16mil. Look up benchmarks of motorola flipout vs nexus 1 on YouTube. In the first test flipout has more fps. In the second test u can see that the flipout beat the recorded score of the x10. The flipout has the same resolution as x10 mini and same speed CPU so that shud be a closer competition.
I'm not saying this to defend motorola. I'm just pointing out a few reasons why the x10 mini scored so good on those tests.

abhi, 07 Jan 2011What did super amoled prove ??? That it has the most immatu... moreOf cause, Super AMOLED Plus is a better version of Super AMOLED. But it's a result of development prosess, not as an alternative.
And this doesn't change the fact that Samsung just announced a better version of it. LG also announced NOVA Dispay which out perform Super AMOLED too.
I didn't say BRAVIA is bad. But it didn't have a prove to be great as yet. That's all I want to say.

I just said that motorola's implementation of processors is very bad which will make it's dual core perform very badly when compared with dual core of others.

It performed much better than motorola droid & even comparable to samsung galaxy s.
The thing which ruined the benchmark scores for x10 was it's extremely heavy mediascape & timescape customizations .
But se has ditched mediascape out of xperia arc & has made timescape much more lighter which means that it will perform very nicely.

Not just Moto which uses Tegra in 2011, but Samsung and LG as well. We will see SE Arc's future soon. I hope it will not as bad as peverious XPERIA.

And if this screen was so good than why samsung came out with a better alternate (super amoled plus) saying that it has much more correct & natural colour rendering.
Super amoled was just a gimmick played by samsung with highly over saturated colours which looked good to see but were the most false colours .

1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H is a Dual Core processor
NOT like
MSM8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor
Dual core are way fast than single cores, Keep no doubt about it, its not something with brand name!!
