Another heads up for GSMarena.
This phone no longer has the Mediascape UI. Sony Ericson ditched Mediascape for them to deliver Android version updates faster.

GSMarena please update the spec sheet. Sony Ericsson just officially released the XPERIA Arc's white paper.
This phone has the new *1GHz MSM8255* chipset which is one of the latest processors from Qualcomm and also has the new *Aderno 205 GPU* which is significantly faster than the X10.

This is a really powerful and nice cell phone, but why sony Ericsson doesn't use "Super AMOLED" screens in it's designs?. In my personal opinion I prefer a resistant screen(AMOLED) other than more contrast(LCD).

great arc design! It's like human curvature 'opposite'.. And the design make the phone looks distinct than any other previous phone that ever made.. Well done SE!

This is indeed the most disspointing phone i've seen from SE, same LCD but tweaked with bravia, same 1gHz CPU - no match for dual-core, same 720p and 8MP camera, but speakers sound fantastic!!
And software rocks as always

This is indeed the best looking device I have ever seen! But this is not strange since it's a Sony. What's even better is that the 8 mp camera with the new sensor will keep the X10 successor the best android camera the same way the current X10 is.
So this device will have a brilliant camera, stunning display, the latest version of android plus the sexiest design you could ever get!! I don't think it could get better than this, but wait let's not forget it's a Sony which means you will still get the premium and classy feeling while holding it.
Brilliant job se! I am indeed impressed.
