TI OMAP4 processors were unveiled by texas instruments a long time ago & they r already available for commercial use.
They r dual core processors based on ARM's multi core Cortex A9 processor which can offer 7 times the computing power of current smartphones.
It enables full HD(1080 pixels) ,upto 20mpx camera ,1900*1200 resolution screen , a GPU exactly same as which is currently used in samsung galaxy s.
These OMAP processors offer amazing battery life (can play mp3's for a week on a single battery charge & can record full HD videos for continuously 4 hours).

It's got a new Snapdragon inside with Adreno 220 which is capable of full HD.

GSMarena, update the specs!
It will run on android Gingerbread so you guys should at least put "Android OS" instead of lamely insinuating Android OS v 2.1 (Eclair)like that.
Also it WILL HAVE A SNAPDRAGON MSM8260 1.2 GHZ.
Not a first gen Snapdragon like you are selling here.
Why not just put a "Snapdragon" processor in the column?
Bottom line - it will be capable of full HD, so therefore feature MSM8260 with Adreno 220 GPU, all wrapped up in Android 2.3!
So please fix that, gsmarena. If you don't want to look like naive ignorants.

I nearly buy Xperia x10 after i heard that it runs on android 2.1..but ANZU?! ohhh,its a heaven call,ahha!
but still,im still waiting for the full specs from GSM Arena..theres definately upgrade since it is indeed "successor"
1) 16M colours!
2) 12MPXL camera!
3) 4.3" with bigger and bolder pixels!
and im here still hoping that it comes n white colour!!

People who says that 680mhz is not enough for symbian 3 is not enough are wrong. S3 is very lightweight os. it means that it doesn't need any hi speed processor.
anyway, lets talk about se x12. will it beat htc, apple an samsungs droid devices??

With 256 Ram, 680 CPU the N8 can't beat even the Nexus One! The N8 is better ONLY in terms of camera. The X12 is rumored to have a 12 MP camera, 1.5 GHZ or 1.2 GHZ of CPU, 512 Ram at least, 4.3 inch screen. The N8 has a much smaller and weaker screen then this. Nokia is going down right now.

Of course Android is my favorite OS, because it is the BEST OS now. :) I will buy a HTC Desire most probably. Then I will update my phone to the version 2.2. Android and Meego are the future. Symbian will be not dead so soon. Even in 2014 you will see Symbian phones.

2) Symbian^4 was expected to be
released in the first half of 2011.
However, Nokia announced in October 2010 that Symbian^4 will not ship as a separate release. Instead, improvements to the Symbian platform will be delivered as software updates to all current Symbian^3 devices.
So don't expecting Symbian^4 too much, you could judge its performance by looking at the current Symbian^3 devices :)
