its awesome fone far much better than s2
Its camera speed is awesome n reality display powered by bravia makes its display much better than s2
After upgrading it to 2.3.4 xloud is also added so its loudspeaker is also good mch bttr than s2 it/also has exmor cmos sensor n shoots awesome images

i wanna know that u guyz don't face any problem with the internal memory of the phone because its only having 320mb
and i think many android apps require only internal memory??

get it back to the vendor and get it swaped for a new one
i have lt15i as well and i had no problems with it ... the phone roccks

ll of you are going for the xperia while not even knowing that the s2 is far much better...a simple evidence is about the ram memory. out of 512 it will use about 300...so u get only 200 free..and when u buy the phone its not exactly 512. its a bit less. so is for the s2. but for the s2 out of 1gb ram u get 350-400 used and still a lot free and so the phone never lags and blocks. you say bateery life. i also was shocked due to the bateery but don't tell me that you cannot afford to charge the phone atleast once per day. i have personally found that the more vivid image goes for the s2 though they are almost the same. and also its not yet sure that arc is getting ics. i have upgraded my s2 to the official xxlpq ics firmware and believe me. the s2 has become much better. it uses less ram memory and also battery life has increaed much. after heavy usage i can easily tell that the phone lasts for almost 2 days. very good indeed. go for the s2 you will not regret it

I am jaspreet singh from new delhi. I bought new xperia arc on 11th dec 2011.
My mob.No is 9654297924.
There are many problems in the handset and there was problem in mother board.
The phone automatically gets hanged when kept in stand by mode. Then I have to take out the battery to switch on the phone. I have given phone to sony ericson service centre 4 times and still problem is there in the phone. My phone is still in service centre only and they are jsut delaying the issue by giving me time again and again when I am calling them .
From the purchasing date, I have not used my mobile properly for single week.
My mobile gets hanged several times in a day.
So I dnont want my old hand set I want new one.
If u are not able to do this I will take a legal action on sony.
And I want immediately reply for this.
This phone has spoiled my social and official life. So many times I have listened from my clients that your phone was out of reach only because it was hanged.
My parents were in so much tension because once phone was completely out of reach and I was travelling. They keep on calling me but my phone was hanged and call was not connecting.
Please give me a new phone or give my money back.
Or else I have to file a case in consumer court. My job was almost gone because of this phone. I know how I have saved my job by explaining them the problem with this phone.

hey gadget guru, i m disagree with ur opinion. Always xperia Arc is better than Galaxy S2. Because S2 has Amoled screen. So S2 will last it`s charge for one day. but xperia Arc has LED Backlit. so charge will last for even three days. I was unhappy with my Galaxy S2. So simply I bought A xperia arc. Realy awesome phone

If you are consid... moreWell I have to say that previously I had a Nokia N97 and still use the car charger in my Arc and the regular charger at my parents house so no idea what you are talking about.
Yes, at first it is tricky to know how to plug the charger but I got there with no problem and the charger is exactly the same as used by Nokia so I can't see here any SE particularity or what so ever that could make it go wrong.

Disagree vehemently with other reviews.
If you are considering purchasing an Experia Arc, think twice. Sony Ericcson do not properly support this phone with after service.
Two weeks after I got the phone the battery wouldn't charge. I was told the issue was a lifted pin in the mini USB and that it was user error and wouldn't be covered under warranty. Took over 3 weeks for the part to arrive to enable the phone to be fixed and $110. Next day the phone needed charging and wouldn't. A pin in both the mini USB and the cable had lifted and yep you guessed it, Sony Ericcson denied all responsibility - same story "user errror not covered under warranty".
This was despite the backing of the authorised repairer who also pointed out to the company that the mini USB plug was square not like typical ones that have one side of the plug which is wider.
Ironically, I bought a cheap $30 Sony Ericcson Cedar to tie me over while other being fixed and its mini USB is your typical one.

Arc is better than E7. Arc is superb awesome phone. fantastic features. thanx Sony...
