i think the size of arc is the best and handy among all the phones at present with 4.27" display, even handled with single hand. galaxy s2 is a little large but not handled with one hand with normal size hands. Also need not to upgrade it with arc s just for processor. most of the people need not of much speedy processors or dual core ones, 1ghz is enough for normal use.

I just received an OTA to my Xperia Arc. The update downloaded fine and it started the update OK. During the update (I had the open box icon an 4 dots on screen) the phone just shut down and now it doesn't turn on anymore... Nothing happens if I press power button (it doesn't matter how long) even after removing battery.
Is there anything I can do. Is my phone permanently bricked? I thought they test these OTAs before pushing them out?

this phone is one of the best in the market even compared to the duel core ones

Has your Nokia already recognized your arc, I mean when you about to send the files from Nokia, did the device name (arc's name) appear on the Nokia screen to service? Once it capable to send, it supposed to be no problem in receiving file either. Note that the phone will refuse to receive any unsupported file formats. Try to send an mp3 song or a picture from Nokia and also check if there is bluetooth directory already in arc sd card. And keep the arc bluetooth status discoverable.

so can anybody please answer me if this phone plays divx, xvid avi files - I mean, I know that it says it plays mp4, h.263/4 but similarity of the video file types makes me wonder. so can anybody please answer me? thanks in advance

From last ten years am using nokia mobile....few days before i bought SE xperia arc...this is my first android phone....its really amazing as featurewise,performancewise....currently am using gingerbread 2.3.3 os...i want to use 2.3.4 when it will be available in india??? plz tell me guys

Just got 2.3.4 in Saudi Arabia. 3D Panorama Camera is beautiful. RAM optimization on 2.3.4 is much better.

the phone auto-power off for no reason so many times..why is it that sony always looks good on the outside but bad from the inside.
i gave up the phone after 3 days...anybody know the reason

if you are about to receive a file from another device you must firts turn your bluetooth on and make your deveice discoverable...
