-make sure your wifi connection is stable
-toggle through battery saving settings, if you set it to max battery settings, whenever you put your phone in idle and it goes to sleep it automatically disconnects from any wifi connections.
-also, i would hard reset the phone before doing any upgrade/downgrading.
-make sure your root ( if you apply ) does not make function error upon your wifi driver, that or make any application's update manager cause any error with both your wifi manager or NIC. thus why I suggest you hard reset your phone.

had been using the phone for a year...top notch heat is a problem i guess...n low internal memory sometimes sets my head on fire...but still, all other features are exceptionally good...really enjoy using it...specially after switching to 3G, my experience is great...

My arc s signal is very poor, sometimes no signal at all. also, wifi signal is bad. it always drops and disconnects every few minutes. Pls somebody helps me. your help would be highly appreciated. thx alot
