Ar123, 14 Apr 2012I have problem with my experia mini too,. so i follow inst... moreDude you don't need to unlock bootloader with the procedure you can root it without unlocking bootloader if you are successful with downgrading the firmware just root it using doomlords toolkit WITHOUT UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER then if you're successful with rooting thats the time you run the script.

hi guys...
i have this mobile,i love my phone performance
but it have a seriouse problem
its "turn back" and "menue "button not works corectley.
(like you always push those buttons)
is all of xperia mini s are like this?

hi guys well im just planning to buy this mobile is this gud..?? i just read the other opinions of other users. they say they have the HEATING PROBLEM is it the problem with every user of this phone or just some..?? and will all the application that support in xperia mini pro will support in this phone....??

Unlocking boot loader with custom kernel provides root acces without downgrading
1 check sony website for unlocking procedure(official method)
2 search test point method in google it also unlock bootloader(un off method)

I cant confirm the date may b end of this month or starting of next month any way I wont forget to share review of new ics rom

1 heating is normal in most android phones,some calibration error leads to OVER HEAT in less time in xperia mini
2 it found in some batches of xperia mini only(not sure,i was having that issue)
3 90% calibration error and 10% touchpad issues
4 mostly software issue& rarely hardware issues
5 will you use phone workng @ 45c or later(actually it wont affect hardware)
6 calibration fix available(se official method wont stand for longer time,even though its sw fix
Un official way have no such problems

and this is very common problem in xperia minis. my mini got that problem in the day exactly i bought it.about 5 days ago. its got .62 firmware. previous post mistakenly im write as .69 firmware.
i tried DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit to root mini.it says failed to copy files including superuser.apk . no result.
looks like only option downgrading to .42 firmware and follow procedures by 007snz

1:What are heating issues?
2:Is it common in all Mini's?
3:What is the cause of heating issue??
4:heating issue is caused by Hardware or Software??
5:What is the problem produced in Mini's by heating issue??
And at last
6:what is the solution of heating issue's of Mini??
Please reply without minding it coz it would helpful for all Mini's users.

Somehow my previous reply was deleted by admin,
.56,.62 & .69 firmware are latest firmware versions for xperia series,sony blocked some of the common rooting procedure in these firmware, only option for root in these firmware is downgrade or unlockboot loader(procedure is written on company website)
Hope developers will find new techniques to root ics

If still you want to root try downgrading method(unlocked bootloader brick your phone when connected to seus or pcc)
