this phone suxxx. I hv been using for last 2 months.. screen flicking is major problem, other r heating problem n battery dies in 1day. don't go for it unless SE fix these problems.

does anyone here specially from the philippines that has a perfectly working ST15i? no issues whatsoever?? no flickering no heating etc etc...could you guys pls tellwhen you bought it and where? and also the serial # of the phone...maybe the new released batch has no issues at all thank you very much

I don't recommend this phone, or any android in general.
so about this phone: i bought it a month ago, and it turned out to be really bad.
here are the difficulties:
1- it runs out of battery so fast, even if i shut all the applications, even though it's a smart phone that you need to have more applications then other phones.
so i end up charging the battery twice per day if i use some applications.
2- sometimes all of the sudden it refuses to let me call people. ex: i don't know why it blocked my husband and my brother phone number that i can't text or call them and sometimes all of the sudden it does.
3- if it run out of battery and it warn you that you need to charge your phone, then there is no way you can call. imagine emergencies!
4- i'ts touch screen and with board, but if you want to look for contacts, you need to type on the board and open the phone, other wise you have to scroll down around 200 names to find what you want.
5- if you want to type a phone number that it doesn't exist in your phone list, it won't allow you to do that. you have to save the phone first then add recepient to your text message.
there are a lot of other problems, so i don't advice you.

i would have bought this phone but the capacitive issue scared me. i ended up buying a samsung android for half the price. very happy with it.

seems like diz is the best candidate for replacing my x8
but too much negativ comments,i hope this is solved by custom roms :p
but my fren wants to sell his htc touch hd..
xperia n touch hd which is best?

SE loose its profits, they make half baked phone, too many bugs on it thats why other people leave SE. you guys read this people are complaining bout this buggy phone talk.sonyericsson.com/message/109990#109990

Problem with capaciive start after 4days of use,it happens only on hard gamming other wise its fine,camera quality lack colour details qnd back speaker soud is too low,handset becomr hot on charging,battery stand for only 1 day thats fine according to its spec,really its a monster,handycapped monster
