it can be upgraded to ics4.0.4 it will be faster you need to download sony update service its totaly free.

upgraded to android 4.1 jelly bean and working fine. stand by time is bit low, battery only lasts for about one day. the small screen size makes it bit hard when you're typing.except for that, xperia mini is satisfying as a smartphone.

They never really could get rid of that pb, probably because the phone is so small the components are too much crammed and heated inside the phone. Go to Sony Service Center for recalibration of the screen. And next time you want to buy a phone read about it before, it's all over the internet.

Does it support flash cote... moreFor YouTube, if I stream using Opera Mobile 12 and Firefox 16, they will bring me to YouTube app. For Metacafe and Dailymotion, Firefox 16 can't be used for stream the videos directly from its browser, just black screen on the videos, while Opera Mobile 12 can stream it well on Metacafe, but can't stream on Dailymotion, it said media format not supported.
And for Dolphin Browser 9.0 (I install Dolphin Jetpack too) can stream YouTube, Dailymotion and Metacafe directly from its browser.
Note: My smartphone using Android 4.0.4. For viewing flash content, you should in Gingerbread.
For music is good enough.

I had this fon for 4 months.it worked flawlessly until recently it started misbehaving, its now extremely difficult to power on the device simply because it wont unlock, you swipe the unlock button to the right n its goes back to the left .wen by chance it unlocks it wont hold on to the pin code window for more than 5 sec before locking the screen again.U have to try at least 10 times n be extremely fast wen entering sim pin. When u launch an application it starts for some few secs then suddenly closes.even wen dialling a contact its starts dialling then ends suddenly ends the call. I have updating it to ics but sony companion says the software is up to date. I used to luv this fon but now its stressing me. Please help me get me get my fon to its initial form or update it to ics Thnx. Please help
