Hi xperia mini users, i just want to ask if the heating and malfunctioning of this phone is fixed. And can this phone play diff. Video formats like .avi and .3gp. Im torn between, xperia mini, live with walkman, htc explorer and lg optimus l3.

1. You can go for Xperia U, better than Xperia mini, but lack of microSD slot or you can choose Xperia ray.
2. My Xperia mini is Android 4.0.4 now, still work fine for some applications and some games. But, Adobe Flash is gone after update it and some Android games might be won't work. It still smooth moving, but a little lack, overall is OK.
3. For texting is comfortable for me in portrait display, but rather not comfortable when in landscape (QWERTY). This will depend on yourself.
4. The camera is good enough (I can't say much about camera, I'm not concern in camera) and sound quality is good, without xLOUD checklist, the sound is low
Hope this can give a description.

I have a small confusion about 2-3things which i would like you as an user to suggest me the pros & cons of buying this phone.
Firstly,my budget is under 13k indian inr.So will it b a good choice for me 2buy this xperia mini or shall i buy a new 2012 release phone???
Secondly,how about an ics update for this phone??? Will it smoothly run all d apps if i upgrade it??
Thirdly,the screen size is small so isnt it a big deal while texting or surfing d net or pinch zooming???
Fourthly,how about the camera quality & sonys xLOUD audio sound???

for further updates Connect to android market from your phone or pc for firmware update to update dis fone to 4.0 icecream sandwich....,
it will also for those people who r facing hybernate/hanging problems in their xperia mini.
Trust me dis phone is just awesome..,

Xperia mini advantage over Galaxy Ace:
Crispier display (192 pixel density)
HD camera with dedicated shutter button
Faster with 1GHz processor
Galaxy Ace advantage over Xperia mini:
Larger display, 3.5"
Longer standby time and call time
Now if you like bigger screen and doesn't care of other specs say camera or its clock speed, go for galaxy ace. Also consider its current price.

male-bozz, 17 Sep 2012how can i find the applications on the phone? i downloaded ... moredata/app folder. u should have root permission to enter this. if u havent root backup them using a software like es file explorer.

Instal file manager, such as Astro File Manager, ES Explorer, etc to see downloaded files.
