Sony Ericsson Xperia mini can read PDF, it has Office Suite Viewer preloaded. While, if you would like to edit, purchase Office Suite Pro. For music, it has xLOUD feature to enhance music sound, as loud as like what I think that's depend on the user who listen it. Yes, it has loudspeaker for calling.

Hello All,
Though this is an old phone, i still belive it is the best choice for around 10 K price range.
I wanted your input for the requirements i have for my new mobile:
i need unlimited voice recording - i have seen some nokia phone having max 1 hr recording
Does it have loud speaker for music and calling
I am a office excel addict - i used it extensively in my HTC handset. I want to know if i can use excel - basic filter, sumif, and other features of execl on Mini 15i
can i read pdf on it
does the camera have a flash while doing video recording
and the most critical is - is the connectivity with laptop user friendly - to download contacts, calender, files - easily ( i lost my contact when i connect HTC to laptop - the stupid software has only 2 options - to delete all contact on phone and move outlook contact to mobile and vise versa - i am never using an HTC again)
can i easily configure my office outlook to Mini ST15i.

1.Back up your data and format your phone.
2.charge your battery full because if you battery is 80% before update and if you update your mobile OS then OS will think 80%=100% there arise the battery problem.
3.Update your mobile using Sony Ericsson update service.
4.After installation of update again format your phone.
5.Now your Xperia mini will be fast then before.

Before replace I thought its more lagging than stock one. But its really smooth. no lagging
If u want to go to GB just flash a .42 GB rom

xperia mini has very nice specs price here in philippines is 6,300php I update it to ICS 4.0.4 after update you must factory reset then format your memory card so u won't have any problems like camera or video lags I haven't experience and also I haven't experience back and buttons even playing while charging my phone the downside of this phone is small screen thats all but for the specs very nice for its price and it has protection scratch proof and solid body...so guys dont hesitate to buy it go for it no problems encounter so far I love sony products....

Dear Friends,
I updated my xperia mini to ICS and its lagging and hanging too mush...Its very slow as well...
Is there anyway to go back to GB or what should I do to solve this problem because previous android version (GB) was very fine and I had not any problem.

Hi everyone, I bought this phone and 2 months later i started getting touchcsreen problem: screen flicker and it keeps vibrating.. sounds like the phone became mad..lol..anyone got this problem here?

i updated my phone to ics a week ago and repaired it with pc companion formatted my sd too..... i got a whole new phone when i repaired it usin pcc... Im a big message texter..... nd i see my battery draining very fast for just texting nd receiving messages.... brightness level is below 30 bravia engine is turned off no wifi no gps no bluetooth nothing on not even gprs or edge..... still i can see my battery draining while texting :'(
is dat common for xperia phones or is it me experiencing it.....
PS : irepaired with pcc and its fine with ics
and battery backup in idle state is also far better

Sony Ericsson Xperia mini planned upgrade to v4.0 but its not gonna happen this year or next year so no use this phone dont buy it friends
