robert, 15 Jun 2012yup! brought my mini there and it's been 3months but i didn... morepinoy here...im planning to buy new phone..my 1st option is xperia mini,2nd is lg l3 e4oo third is alcatel ot 918 glory and last samsung galaxy y or wave y?which phone is the best when it comes to browsing,games,battery life,best pic quality??pls i need answers.tyvm

Pinoy here, Sony Xperia Mini, in my opinion, is the best bang for the buck phone today, it's price is down to 6.5k php at glorietta 3 sony store (yes, this is the store that's fixing the heating issue), the phones they are selling are already calibrated, so hopefully no heating issue, 6.5k php for this specs????, when compared with phones below 12k, it only loses on screen size, nothing else, please argue with me.

Question to all pinoys, who has xperia mini and had heating problems, did u bring your unit to glorietta 3 sony service center? they calibrated it and fixed it? my question is, is the problem really fixed after that?, i am planning to buy this unit on the service center itself, it is a good idea?

i have this phone since one and half month got to say this phone is piece of art cause its so small and yet so much powerfull on vary first day u will face some problem with qwetry but after few days u can write as fat as in pc keyboard . battery backup is perfect you can browse more than 9 hour on opera mini and talk more than one hour in one charge ,
the only thing which will let you down is phone's display resolution may be a lot of cracked hd games which is downloaded from a non market web sites not run properly due to resolution conflict (not because hardwareware config) camera is abobe than average 5 mp but not best 5mp (nothing can beat iphone 4 5 mp) . but when you print your pic u will realy delighted by paper out of your mini taken shots.
ya its true it stucks sometimes for couple of secconds but not annoying just a small bug in os and will b fixed in next update i think.
just lacks a video call camera and its a big deal for sure
anyways its a vary recommended phone for your pocket .
i m writing this review from my mini in less than 6 minute so you can imagine qwetry board is as fast as keyboard.
i have a white one and i lovee it

I use Sony Ericsson Xperia mini, I frequently use it, from my notes that I write I should charge it within less than 18 hours (use it for 5 hours to less than a half day I should charge it). This depends on the usage of the phone. For the game, of course bigger pixel, bigger RAM, bigger prosesor is better.

Talk time :-) will get up to 3 hours when you charged the phone while switched off and start talking the first minute of switch on.
Music play :-) The phone will get automatically switched off within 10 hours in stand by and all its features are turned off.
My opinion, it is a good phone to buy if you have a power socket near you all the time.

Lets say xperia is better than L3 but lets talk about the battery life. How many days you can use Mini in games texting and others, base on your experience? Can anyone reply pls. Im thinking about the L3 & Mini. I will buy this coming monday. Can anyone explain to me what is better for Gaming, Texting, Graphics, Battery life.

For me typing is very comfortable, I prefer typing in non QWERTY shape. For the lag I haven't face it yet. While overheating, I face like this: if I use it for long time or keep using it, the back cover is rather hot.

Android phone also hang like other os phones,but hanging is rare in mini
Note- GAMING WONT BE SMOOTH ON ICS as there is some problem with adreno libs[still better than lg]
