Planning ti buy xperia mini?????
i think its a BaD CHOice because although xperia mini is a very good phone expect that heating problem,it does have a competition with other budgets phone.
if you are planning to buy this phone just think that heating problem is a very big issue. If It can't be solved your phone is good for nothing.
we all know sony is a trusted company ,and there are many good phones and the only phone in thae range of xperia mini is

lWW is having all the specs of xperia mini expect the BraVia engine.lWW is beteer than Xperia mini bEcaUSE..
1. Better sound quality
2. netter battery backup( B.Engine consumes lotts of battery.
3.mini is having Qualcomm QSD8255 Snapdragon chipset which is an older version and lWW is having Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon which is the latest version.
4. secondary camera
5.mini is tooOOo small and lWW is an average pocket sized phone.

So ThiNK lWW or x MInI is better and also remember ,unfortunately the heating problem comes your money is lost.

Just bought mine this morning and I have no problem, it is preloaded with the firmware "62" and I didn't experience any bug so far. I'll keep on observing my phone for heating and vibrating bugs that has been mentioned here. So far I'm inlove with this phone. From x8 to Mini.

I bought this phone for a month before.. whenever i get into phone settings, it comes out of it automatically.. and when typing text for every letter i type,msg got saved in draft and comes of it... is this software prob or wat... shld i change the software..??? plz help me...

I have been using this phone for the ... moreagree with u on everything mate..so good to see intelligent comments here after million posts about caliberation problem...seriously cant understand y ppl made issue of that heat bug..its completely removable for free..
only phones who can beat mini on every level are high end andros like xperia S, maybe iphone 4S..no phone come near mini in its price range..
one bug is there though, if u use inbuilt video converter while copying videos on mem card..u cant fast forward video in built in player..no matter how much is video length it always show it between 0.29 min to 6 min...doesnt matter actualy if u use moboplayer ;-)
pardon english.. trying so hard not to type in shortcut lang :D

My bro bought this phone 1 month ago but after 20 days is heating like my digital tv's set box and some days ago it stop fuctioning another thing it has too small screen and it has 16mm height so it much biggy than other phone

but after buying this phn you have to upgrade this software from SONY Service Center... If you enter 3g activated sim for the first time.. after sarting the phn it will automatically update each and every software.. and after that you will face some problem like (auto back to the home screen, vibrating continously, overheating, low batery back up, etc)...
