This phone is let down badly by requiring the user to be connected to the internet in order to use the GPS. It insists on collecting anonymous data and transmitting this to Sony while you are using the phone GPS - I am not comfortable at all with this idea.

Hi all,I love this phone, BUT, I have one very silly problem, maybe someone can help me, because I just cannot figure it out.
In the morning when my Alarm sounds, there is pop-up on the screen which asks you to select SNOOZE or DISMISS, if by any chance in your sleep or if my mistake you press any other buttons on the phone, the pop-up disappears and the Alarm keeps ringing no matter what you do. Unless you have to literally switch-off the phone in order to turn-off the alarm music. Can someone please help me if there is another way to stop the alarm music other than selecting the options on the pop-up

Assalamalikum Everyone thanks for all comments Finally I got my dream mobile Xperia St17i last week good camera good music battery back up is ok i have not tested only my slide moves little bit cross-sectional I am worried about is any one facing this kind of problem pls help me and my internal memory is about 286mb i dont know how to make it 512 pls help me in that too Ithe only drawback is due to its huge thickness compared to all smartphones. and my wifi has problem pls help me that it suddenly connects and disconnects automatically the icon comes and goes back pls help in that too .....Thanks in advance

The one I bought, did not come with 400 MB of internal memory and 320, and with some configurations, is exactly 302 MB of free memory. And the Sony website, you, writing the 320 and not 400.

suresh kannan, 15 Apr 2012i am going to buy a phone. sony xperia mini pro or live wa... moreOnly thing better about pro is the screen quality . Live has 3.2inch screen compared to pros tiny 3.0. Live has stereo speakers that are better and louder than any other android device except xperia play maybe as i think its got the same stereo speakers. Live is also faster because its 1ghz processor doesn't have to deal with as many pixels in the screen. Live is the last walkman phone ever done by S.E. and it puts pro to shame as its also cheaper.

- from menu settings turn on data traffic and GPS satellites.

Had Xperia X10 mini pro Before this, bought this yesterday, Compared With X10 Battery lasts way mutch more even with all battery consumers enabled and music playing. Display Graphics are mutch better than X8 & X10MP has. but one problem .. Cant find "Ä,Ö,Ü" characters on keyboard. since i live in estonia i need them pretty mutch. Also this phone's price was big suprise... only €169.- . Sound Quality is pretty good with in box handsfree. It's a big pleasure to own one of these.

I suggest to install QuickPic app to view the albums in much better and faster experience.
