Anonymous, 27 Mar 2012Would like to know the importance of having a hdmi port on ... morewell hdmi is obviously for viewing hd vids and pictures on the tv, and the hdmi lead deffinetely makes pictures also clearer and sharper when viewed on tv ( for instance compared to my sgs i9000 tv out lead). My partner got the xperia arc s, and it was available for £199 from dilaphone on various networks. Techradar.com are pretty good for comparing uk deals. You can also play games via a tv connection, which I do with about 50% of the games I have, and hdmi is preferably since you dont lose some of the quality of picture (as I do when I use my tv out lead, as I have no hdmi port on my sgs). The xmp is great for out and about and very cool for taking hd vids, without being a massive phone, and ofcourse the keyboard is much faster. If you want to play games then go for a 4 inch screen or larger. Hdmi lead should be provided with a hdmi port phone, but you will need an extension cable to play games far enough from the tv. They are pretty cheap from amazon.

Would like to know the importance of having a hdmi port on mobile phones.
Aside from that, i am stucked with Xperia Mini Pro, Neo V and Ray. Having a keyboard is lot more easier for me to do the typing but i want to try bigger screen for gaming and specially surfing the net. So Can someone help me which one?

Awww, i really don't know which one. Is it Xperia Mini Pro, Ray or Neo V? It will be my first time to have a touch screen phone (having a qwerty keyboard makes my typing a lot more faster and easier) 3 phones with different screen size. i really like the
A. Mini pro but i consider the following,
1) Does the size of my thumb fits the screen? (Note: i haven't own a touchscreen phone yet,
2) I would like to know if what is the importance of having a hdmi port because mini pro doesn't have one. I mean, is having a hdmi port contributes a great impact to the total performance of the phone?
3) After a couple of months of using the mini pro, how was the attachment of the keyboard to the screen? does it fit perfectly and as good as new?
4) How was the battery performance?

1) What is that 3d Sweep panorama? I'm just being conscious about it because the xperia mini pro and ray doesn't have.

3. Fond of surfing the net with my phone.
4. Ready to experience something i haven't tried before.

bcaz ... moreMini pro is better in all aspects! Although the screen of both mini pro and gio have the same HVGA resolution and 24 bit of color depth, the led backlight technology makes mini's screen looks more crystal clear. The screen resolution is not affect to the sunlight legibility fyi - but it depends on the screen's material, how good it is to cut down the light through reflection to result a clear image under bright light. And mini pro is good on this situation.
Between mini and mini pro, I would still recommend to go with mini pro, there're so many complain about mini's capacitive button that make the phone stop working or gone crazy! So far the only specific complaint on mini pro is static sound on video recording results (early products) - dunno if this has been fixed on the newer batch.

Adoron, 26 Mar 2012application installer is a separate application. it is easi... morethanks..but after instalation by applicatn installr it needs internet..can only internt present in mobile wll allow instlation succesful or it again nedd to google a/c login ..

RitZ, 23 Mar 2012guys what about its scratch resistant glass , is it gorrila... moreit's not gorilla glass but in normal use it should be scratch resistant like putting your phone in your pocket with coins. i actually tested it with a scissor and it got a scratch! btw, if you buy brand new, two screen protectors are included - one is already intalled on it and both screen protectors cover all the fron of the device except for the home key and earpiece.
