Minipro is equipped with sonybravia mobile engine whch makes it give 2nd best screen resolution n it costs $230 is Asia WHERE AS, Live isnt bad. It doesnt hav sonybravia engine so resolution's not gr8 but overall nice phone by SE @ $200....

hello! my device notified me that update 4.0.2.A.0.62 is available. My current device build is 4.0.A.2.335. Anyone updated it yet? what's new with this update? the SE sight said that the latest update has 3D panoramic viewing. what's that? please help me :(

Mahesh, 20 Jan 2012Please guide me. How is the youtube video viewing experien... moreyou can set the video to lower quality or HQ. HQ usually takes longer to start and sometimes buffer. buffering is because of the network provider not because of the device. during night, which is usually the peak hours of wireless network usage videos buffer but in the morning my xm pro was able to play HQ vid straight 10mins from start to end without buffering. the vid quality looks awesome and you wouldn't know it was an online video!

it is best in this price
i think this is best phone with excellent performance , very compressed
i love my Xperia mini pro........
Multimedia is good and u can make it better with many programs
camera is very nice
Call qualityvery good it has noise cancelation
Displayis very very good
it is very fast like a RABBIT
Internetgood because i use it very much
Batteryis enough

i bought one mini pro ... gps,naviation not working showing searching for location but not going on ....
plz help me out , the both camera is extremely super bt the software is bad ... i lik to install lot of application but ian afraid to install .... is this phone software is bad ...help me the solve the problem i want to use phone to its peak

at last i brought mini pro the phone is super !!!!!
the best is secondary camera@front camera is excellent
texting is too cool , battery is too low bt if u reduce display brightness v can go wit it 1.5 days
but ian facing a problem like gps,navigation, its showing searching for location but not going on.the software is really bad...... moreover to switch on its taking lot of time.... plzzzzz help me out is this phone's software is bad .. i really want to install many application but ian afraid to install ... i really like to install application i hav so many dreams help me outttt

Friends who are using Xperia Mini Pro, could you please let me know howz the performance of the slider so far? Are there any issues in the slider performance yet or does the sliding keyboard really gets loosen up after some period of time ?

Yeeeeeee.... It's my bro's birthday today. He'll buy a live with walkman today. And i'll be buying mini pro on 26th Jan. Hpoe it's slider won't give me problem in future. Atleast for a year. :)

How is the youtube video viewing experience? I have Nokia N8 but while watching youtube videos it gets pixiliated. So i thought i should buy little smaller screen so that it will help to get little sharpness in the video. I'm going to buy this phone on 26th Jan. Youtube video speed is slow or what? I've 3g network. Will it run without buffering?

I bought this phone 2 months ago. The good features in this phone are:
- Unlimited call records(call logs), even after switch off the phone, your call records will be there.
- High definition video and photo quality. Camera quality is like a digital camera and updated version has video zoom option.
- Bluetooth, wi-fi, 3g, fm, 3" screen size, front camera, sms in threaded view, android apps and games, slider keyboard, can install skype, tubemate, gtalk, real player, fbook, yahoomail, gmail, call recorder, mp3 and video cutter, maps and many more.
Bad features:
- Battery last long for 1 or 1 and half day.
- Download speed is very slow. If you want to watch video on youtube, its buffers video many times.
But overall, it's a good phone. I will recommend to buy this phone. 15300 rs. are justified with the features it has.

wehewan, 19 Jan 2012unfortunately you can't upgrade sony ericsson phones to and... moreSE has no plan to release 2.3.7 update coz basically for Xperia series there is no significant improvement given by this version.
- SE released 2.3.4 update because this version add support for voice or video chat using Gtalk
- They passed 2.3.5 version coz it was brought to improve network performance for the Nexus S among other bug fixes and improvements, to fix bluetooth bug on Samsung Galaxy S, and to improve Gmail application
- 2.3.6 was released to fix voice search bug, Xperias have no problem with this also.
- 2.3.7 introduced Google Wallet support for Nexus S and other things brought by this update are typically bug fixes which perhaps aren't really necessary for Xperia lineup.

Have anyone pl... moreunfortunately you can't upgrade sony ericsson phones to android GB 2.3.7... sony ericsson phones is only up to android GB 2.3.4 with number 4.0.2.A.0.58... the next update would be android Icecream Sandwich (ICS) i think Q2 or Q3 of this year... so no worries mate coz... :)
it's all there in their official website...
but i don't know about the ROOTED phones...

i ... moreDepends on ur usage. i keep the brightness at 10-15% (trust me, thts enough as long as ur not in bright noon sunlight). Use task killer to avoid too many apps running in background. Turn off wifi/bluetooth/gps etc when not in use. and use ur mobile 2g/3g internet when needed than keeping it always on.
this way u can improve general android performance. i listen to abt 3 hrs music, 100 txts per day. abt an hour of calls and occasional games/2g internet..battery lasts 1.5 days easily for me.
