hey gys,., pls help me!!!! i tried to update my phone because it said that it has a new update available.. so when i tried to start updating the first step is to shut down the phone and wait for 5 seconds and then plugged it again( i've done it correctly) and then after, nothing follows,., it said that there's a problem,. so i unplugged it and tried to turn on muy cp, a picture of a cellphone and an exclamation point shows,., and after trying to turn it again,the same picture shows.,. someone pls tell me what should i do,., do someone experiencing the same problem?comments are very mch appreciated,., pls guys help me,., =( tnx in advance.,

Best smartphone for its price with all the features
Only 1 small downfall is the battery up time which is just a day, but that's okay taking into consideration it is a smartphone with many apps running

And Walkman branding is just a marketing gimmick! If you wanna save your money there is the X8. They are actualy the same device - X8 and W8, the difference is only Walkman skin and logo on W8 interface and body. The rests are just the same - hardware, firmware, inability to move apps to memory card, no mega bass, no equaliser on preinstalled music player (tho you can download better one from market). Meanwhile SE Live with Walkman comes with the latest android version and promised to receive android 4.0 ice cream, stereo speakers, etc... and here in my place it's a bit cheaper than mini pro.

what about the sound with and without headphones?
with headphones like ipod or sound is low??

Hey
I was looking for a phone only for good music. I shortlisted Ericson W8 and SE Xperia Mini Pro.
One of the differences that I found btween W8 and Mini pro is that W8 has Walkman Player (so i guess this phone shud have gr8 sound quality), but Mini pro is not having this feature.
So I feel W8 is better in terms of sound quality than Mini Pro.
My Concerns:
MUSIC QUALITY ----IMPORTANT
1. Music should be excellent in Headset (FM and
Player). ----IMPORTANT
Keeping this factor in mind I feel Y should i go
for an expensive phone (Mini pro) for jus music
quality, if we can get it (music quality)in W8.
Correct me if I am wrong.
WATCHING MOVIES: ----OPTIONAL
2. I might travel and would prefer watching movies
already stored in my mobile.
For this option, which one is a good mobile W8 or
Minipro.
Which one shall i go for?

The 345 MB of RAM (or actual size is 343404 kB) is total RAM that can be used by kernel and higher level such as system and applications. The rest of it is locked for GPU cache and some others.
From 1 GB of ROM, 420 MB is available for user, the rests have been partitioned for Android OS storage and for future update, however if you hv rooted the phone you'll have fully access to the whole ROM storage.

You can use Data monitor app. to keep tracking of your data traffic and set the limits according to your data plan and to be notified when your limit has been reached. Your data plan will not be reduced if you use Wi-Fi connection to access internet.

hi, I have been using this phone for the past two months and believe me it is the best phone in its range..I have also upgraded to the new Android version 2.3.4
performance is good, camera quality is excellent, internet speed is good even with the 2G connection, music player is good and all android applications are working smoothly...Just one suggestion to the makers- why dont they give inbuilt memory of 2 GB instead of giving 2GB card free, i have to manually transfer all the applications to memory card, which I dont like!

becoz of likeness to x10 mini pro,this phone is usually underlooked
but i got this phone 2 weeks ago,n its the best phone for mid ranged,trust me

switch off background data and internet when not in use...
charge fully when battery drains out to 1-2%...
I watched a whole movie on my mini pro, updated 2 applications, used facebook, still 20% of battery left and it has been 37 hours since i last charged it...! :)
