They confirmed that there is no known electrostatic bug on the mini pro, may be somebody's handset was faulty. Also confirmed that it is upgradable to Android 4.0.

1) u can use the blacklist apps available in the market...if u wanna avoid "incoming" calls, then just edit the contact and choose "send dir to voicemail" option.
2) long press on any icon in the entire desktop (incl the half circles as well as the full menus),
then u can drag it and drop it on the trash bin icon tht appears in the bottom centre of the screen.
this can be done with any icon :) just long press and drag and drop.....
in order to add apps to ur home screen, long press the icon u need from ur menu....then just drag it and drop it in the semi circle or wherever u want....u can also have 2-3 items in a single half circle....apart from tht u obv have 5 home screens.
3) try updating ur flash player version.
4) gtalk comes bundled with ur phone. and since it is a google product, it is fast and easy to use.
5)downnload "advanced task killer"...many functions will run in the background and east up processor and memory. use this software and just finish all the tasks in 1 click.
6) :-D u get a fantastic phone with droid 2.3.4, 5mp hd, a FANTASTIC qwerty for less than 16k...u want even ctrl+c? :)u dont have them...just long press on a word on ur screen. then just drag the cursoro to select and choose "copy" from the long press menu.

well what i can suggest you is go for phone with screen size between 3..7-4inch ...and you wont find problem while typing .. but if you still want to go for qwerty do a lot of research before going for this model specially.. i dont think so the bug has been fixed ..

I am seriously considering to buy the mini pro, but a little hesitant as Android keeps on upgrading their OS versions. I don't want to be back-dated as soon as Android launches v4.0. Can any existing user or anybody confirm if SE Xperia Mini Pro 2.3.3 upgradable to 4.0?

i jus bought tis phone today and honestly, im very happy and glad i bought it. the battery life and performance are beyond wat i expect from it. before i wanted to buy tis phone, i been doing research and reading review about it and some of the negative reviews does made me doubtful on tis phone. but i glad i took the gamble and bought tis phone.

1.is there a way i can avoid and block accidental outgoing calls or msgs to certain numbers from my contacts?i want them in my contacts but never want to call.
2.how can i add and remove applications from home screen upper semi circle,where the default applications r gallery,radio and fm?
3. I cant run youtube videos,plz help.it just shows the buffering circle but does not play.
4. Which task manager and messenger(gtalk,yahoo etc)should i download?
5.y cant i find exit or close options in any application like opera mini,youtube,in built browser etc?
6. Short cut keys(from physical keyboard) for copy,cut and paste?like cntrl C,cntrl X,cntrl A,cntrl V?
