Take ... moreok man chill out i do know to open a cover and remove the battery and i do know to read and its not a problem man. its easy only. i could tell you that time cause that day only i got my mobile replaced and it was on charge. Its 11w36

Mostly i used to talk over the phone for hours and chatting ofcourse:) with my friends by message and i do often listen to music and the battery stands good for a day for me.

In which branch of Son... morewell i would be happy to help you. i got my mobile checked in sony ericson service centre in T.nagar(sarojini street) and at the service centre they gave me the sheet for replacement of mobile and i took it to univercell( that is where i purchased xperia mini pro) and i got a new one and i was afraid if it would have the same problem as the first one and so i checked it with sony ericson service centre and there was no problem. The bill is very important. If you have the bill only they will proceed for checking or service of your mobile.
I would like to ask you a thing why do u prefer to buy online. you can go and get it from store itself na, cause there itself you can check it na. you told that you will be getting proper bill while buying it online. Does that bill act as a warranty? cause the bill that they give us in any store on purchase of mobile acts as a warrant. So do check it out if that bill supports for warranty.

I mailed to the store where I bought my phone and told them that this second one has same problem. I gave them also links to this forum and xda's and told them that this is pretty big problem. Let's see how they answer to me. :)

I bought these phone about 2 weeks now, it all runs smoothly until today when I try to connect this phone to my home's WiFi, it shows that the phone connected with limited connectivity, I tried to get online but cant. I already formatted it to factory setting but still get limited connectivity. Anybody knows to solve this? Ty :)

Was willing to try my first SE phone with this one. But it seems to have many problems, like noise in calls and video, people not hearing the caller, Xloud not working and making the sound softer, ...and so on.
Thanks, but no thanks. I'll pass because i don't want to take the risk of a faulty one. Will stick with Samsung, never had any pb with my Wave1.
Anyway SE will probably not be around for very long now...

1. Take off your cover
2. Take out your battery
3. Look at the text inside the phone, where the battery was: in the cca. 4th line you'll see 11WXX, where XX is a 2-digit number...
is it that hard?

HI guys who got disappointed by this phone like me !
I suggest that we wait for a response from Sony Ericsson before changing our minds and buying another phone..
I really like the slide-out keyboard and will totally miss it if I buy Xperia Mini :(
So Let's wait and see what will happen in a week or so.. I think SE is working on this issue (noise problem) right now.

I am planning to buy this phone online with proper bill only. But will the service center guys accept it for testing to know whether that piece also have these issue?
In case if the mobile i bought thru online has these faults will they provide me a letter addressing the online site to provide me a replacement?
Finally how is the battery lyf?? is it standing for a day?

Hey guys, are there enough apps for HVGA screen resolution? I mean the cool apps like 'Paper Camera'? And how much memory is consumed by 720p video recorded by the phone for 1 minute?

Elango YK, 29 Aug 2011Hi Krish, Thx for ur immediate resonse. I prefered White c... moreoh fine. Well its simple to test. After opening the box just set the volume in mid range and enable the xloud feature. you can notice the rise in volume and when you disable xloud the volume will be low but when you set the volume to maximum and on enabling and disabling the xloud feature you wont notice much of difference but the volume will be good only. And sometimes there might a voice break problem while talking on the phone, that is you will be able to hear what the person is speaking to you but he wont be able to hear you properly and the listener might here a break in your voice. so check that out also and last but not the least the video recording. try recording in a silent place and if you are able to hear any insect like sound(keep the phone close to your ear so you can notice if the sound is there or not) while recording or playing it in your cell or Pc then there is a problem. After purchase of the mobile if you feel that there is any problem just go and check it out in Sony Ericson service centre.

Infact, after your comment that the 2nd phone is OK, I was planning to buy MiniPro
In GSMArena Review also, U can see "•Doubtful video recording quality" in the "Main disadvantages"!
