That was with WIFI and BT turned on constantly and checking 4 email accounts every 15 minutes, brwosing the web for 30 minutes and a few short phone calls. I haven't checked the noise feature of the video but thats not important to me. I love this phone and anyone thinking of buying it just get out and get it you won't be dissappointed :)

Also, if the battery is a problem, do what I did with my F200EXR camera: buy 1 or 2 additional batteries on the cheap from amazon. The cheapest ones were so cheap that even if they only last 6 months it's still much more than worth it. The only thing you need to worry about is that the specifications have to be the same as the ones on your original battery (except the mAh which can be anything, but 1200 or more lasts longer). I've been using my f200exr batteries for 2 years now and they're as good as the original.
Unlike other modern smartphones, the mini pro has a removable thus changeable battery.

The noise problem is the only reason I haven't bought this phone yet... Please guys make our minds clear! those who have the phone try turning everything off(like Wi-Fi,Bluetooth,Radio or. . .) and record a video. and to those who don't have the noise please upload a recorded video on youtube... That'd be a world of help to us who haven't bought the phone yet and are so eager to buy it....

Anyone with the xperia mini pro, try switching off anything that uses radio waves (like wifi and bluetooth) and then record a video.
Because it is said that the noise is there "all the time", not just when recording audio, video or making a call. (it's just that in those cases the microphone picks up the noise)
This phone is very compact and sony struggled to make it as powerful as possible, so there's a big chance there is interference due to lack of strong isolation or the placement of chips on the board, or god knows what other compromise. Luckily it's not the reception like what apple did with that iphone.
If anyone can confirm it's the radio transmissions, we can rest assured that we can turn them off for crystal clear sound.

try recording after putting phone in offline mode and switching off bluetooth and WI-Fi

Regarding Video NOISE!
Try to find Whether it is due to 'Autofocus' continuously on during Video Shoot ??
If there is ANY OPTION to Turn the AutoFocus OFF during Video-Shoot then do it!
Try to shoot Video in Both the conditions (Low light and bright light)
To LikVit
can u be sure that the Noise during CALL and the Noise during Video shoot are exactly equal in nature?

For some reason in my experience android phones have really bad battery life but this one takes the cake i get about an hours use before the red light is flashing again don dont buy it
