i got this fone its really nice....camera superb music good ....loudspeaker ok.....better than mini coz it got front camera too...n 1ghz really smooth....screen is crystal clear..thanks to bravia engine....

I suspected that it has something to do with battery or other power handling and I noticed that when I put it on charging, the noise was gone. It come back when I take the power cord off the phone. I put a search for test videos on youtube and I found couple of videos that has se same noise, but not as bad as mine and some where there is no noise at all... So I don't know if it's the battery or some other manifacturer's flaw and how many other phones has that same flaw... I sent my phone back to store and they will send me a new one, I just hope that doesn't have the same flaw... :( But it was very annoying making phone calls when that background noise vas audible.

No option to make video call from dial pad. I have 3G SIM, but sad to find that the Xperia mini pro doesn't actually have any button to make video call but normal voice call. It only supports the video call using applications e.g skype.
This phone has Android 2.3.3 and may be Ericsson bring that feature in next update.

Have U tried rec Video at different places also ?? One suspect is Electro-Magnetic Interference from nearby electronic-equipment. U can try shooting at Outdoor like small Garden etc (where calm environment is available). If it exists then surely that noise is generated inside the phone!
