there is a white area on the top left side of my screen from the first day of buying. it is visible only when it is seen from the angle. what's the problem?

The android ice cream sandwich itself is the nick of android version 4.0.3 or 4.04 (see Android version under About phone). And Jelly Bean is the next version (android version 4.1.x) and Sony has said that they currently dont have a plan to update this phone to this version.

OS type is V2.3 upgradable to v4.0 (ice Cream Sandwhich), by upgrading this into v4.0, what would be the possible negative issue with this?

Been using this awesome thing for 4 months now and no major problems to date..However, there are two little things that bother me;the battery span and picture quality. The camera is not the best 5mp camera I've ever used. As an example, I used Vivaz Pro before and I dare to say that its camera snaps better quality pics than this little wonder.
But all and all, I am loving this phone as the pros outweigh the cons. The resolution, speed, look and feel. Plus, it can do the same things the more expensive HP can do.
The best phone ever in its category, certainly. I have no regret at all for choosing this over Galaxy Y or Ace. 4.5/5 stars!!
Sidenote: I am thinking of upgrading the software to ICS but after looking at all these negative comments about ICS on Xperia Mini Pro, I am holding that thought for now..Is it safe yet to upgrade?

kecik, 22 Oct 2012I just use this phone about 4 month, and now i get notifica... moreIt's NOT Jelly Bean, 4.1.B.0.587 or 4.1.B.0.431 are compilation numbers,but the Android version is Ice Cream Sandwich. These models will not be upgraded to Jelly Bean.

Good day! My phone is already notifying me about the new ICS update (the bugfix one) and it says I need PC companion but Sony said you only need PC companion when your still in Gingerbread. I'm already in ICS and the bugfix update is only 0.1MB. Anyone here who already updated their mini pro to .587 or the bug fix update?

Lwi, 21 Oct 2012it's said that has RAM 512mb. But i checked my phone only 3... more340MB is the user-accessible RAM. The remaining of the 512MB is used by the Android operating system itself. That means only 340MB of RAM is all that you can use for your applications to run, be it multi tasking or not. Usually in my experience background apps start to be suspended by the system when you have at least 3-4 active apps, including foreground app. Background app suspension is done to reserve RAM space for the foreground app.
