It also depends from the class your memory card is. The one small number on the car. If it's like 2 or 4 or. 6 or 8 or 10. The number means the mb speed the card can load up stuff in it. So the lower the number the slower the card and the slower the pictures get opened. The exact same thing as the internet speeds in the modems you pay for.

Because I have noticed that this little fella likes to run lots of apps in the background even when you have not started them.

As soon as i got i updated it to version 4. I am facing some basic issues but i do not know whether these are issues of version 4 or issues with the phone. Basically things are nice. Sleek and crispy. I have installed a lot of apps. However it fails to do what i require most.. call a number of search the address book fast... it takes time to respond and its very irritating when you are in a hurry. Also occasionally it hangs.. the touch stops responding and you have to restart... Basically i want my phone to work with the calls nifty and to search a contact should be a breeze... all the rest is the icing. But with this phone for me its only the icing.. :(

Hi I am using this phone for the last 2 months, Can any one help me, whenever I go to the gallery and open any picture my phone get hang and then its not shutting down I have to remove the battery and then its working again but I cannot even send picture to anyone using whatsapp also the same problem is coming.My memory card is 8gb and only 2 gb is hardly in use, please tell me is there any solution for hanging while you try to open any picture in the gallery?

Is it upgradable to android 4.1? and is it successful in this device? I earlier upgraded it to 4.0 but it became slow and therefore had to downgrade it back to 2.3.4.. Please advise whether to get it upgraded or shall I continue with 2.3.4

>in "PC-companion" total 4 step you should follow.
>connect phone to pc/laptop through USB cable.
>instal "sony PC-companion"
>when new update are available for your phone "PC-companion" will display on top side in window in pc/lap.
>click on new "update" on top of the window of pc-companion.
>"PC-companion" will download new update as per you internet speed.
>after complete downloading of new update ,PC-companion detect device for installing this update.
note : minimum 50% battery require.

>disconnect usb cable from pc/lap and also phone .
>switch off phone and wait 5 second .
>connect usb cable to pc/lap.
>connect usb cable to phone (hold volume down[-] button when you connect usb to phone,note : don't hold down [-] button when installing are continue)
>after completion of installation disconnect phone to usb and restart phone ,(it take a time on first-time restart )

I have been using it for a year now, but last few months it has become very slow, especially in opening messages and camera. It takes several minutes to open the message option, and when a new sms comes takes ages to open the full conversation. Can anyone help to make it faster? Sometimes it works normally...
