Ar Ar, 26 Jul 2012Why i can't play wma files in this phone, file format not s... moreWMA/ WMA pro/ WMV and such formats are Microsoft proprietary file formats, Google (preinstalled android media player) drops support on those formats perhaps to avoid patent fight against Microsoft. Install 3rd party apps to play those format files.

I have this handset for a few weeks now. It is great overall, and my only problem was the very short battery life (less than 12 hours with moderate usage). I found that what drains the battery on my handset is its continuous "searching" for cellular signal and wifi. I live in a place with marginal signal (1 bar out of 4, regularly) and find that my battery drains at 3-4% per hour just on standby. Battery cycling/conditioning did not help at all, as did turning off wifi, 3G data, etc.
After some trial and error, my battery now lasts more than 50 hours between charges. What I did was to set my Mobile Network mode to MANUAL and GSM ONLY instead of the default AUTO and WCDMA/GSM. I really don't use 3G, so being in GSM only mode is not an issue for me.
Now, I have my screen brightness set to 25%, 15s timeout, and this gives me a very acceptable standby time of at least 50 hours, even with moderate usage.
Am on stock GB 2.3.4, not rooted. :)

Hello , I've got my mini pro for 6 mounths and it was working very good , until now. Now my phone freezes a lot , especially when I'm browsering the internet . I use Dolphin browser , but because i tought that it was the problem , I deleted the dolphing browser and started using the sony ericsson browser , but again the same problem . Sometimes if i wait it might start working again , and if I shake the phone , also it can start working , but not always.
Because , my phone still has guarantee document , I sent it there , but got my phone back and in the review it said that there was not found problem like that , and got it back still not repaired and still has the same problem.
Please help meee ... i need my old phone backk ! :/

zizze, 22 Jul 2012how to make video call??You could proplably download Video calling software or programs such as skype or tango but u could only vc if de Nex person have de same program

no, there are a lot of users, please check the XDA forums. This phone rocks! even beats my friends SGS regarding speed and functionality. Hopefully Sony will release a new Xperia mini pro with dual core and 1gb ram

we dont seem to have alot of fans with the xperia mini pro
