yayuz, 26 Jun 2012My screen alwayz flashes light when in sleep mode. Help plz it is happening to me too, screen turns on just like i pressed the power button, happens a couple times and then it stops
it seems to happen each 10 minutes
some days is worse than others, some days doesn't happen
this phone is running 2.3.4 and firmware 4.0.2.A.0.62
already made a phone reset but the problem keeps happening
it is one week old phone, should i return it or anyone knows a solution to this?

Let me share my xperience with xperia mino pro. I have bought it 3 weeks ago, Running in Gingerbread is just awesome, very smooth, no lag and feels so great. however i am tempted to update to ICS because i assume that it will be more great to have that amazing ICS that everyone is eager to update.
Well, i have upgraded via SUS about 30 minutes and i open my xmp, woow super lag...everytime i go to main screen, icons are showing a bit laggy before if appears.
I have check my phone version and found out that the face unlock feature is not available in phone option.
I undertook a factory reset and have a repair thru pc companion about another 30 minutes of repairing and loads much better. Face unlock feature is now available. Build no. is change to 4.1.B.0.431, (before its 4.0.A I think)
After repairing the update from PCC, I notice some great changes. Much Smooth transition and animation.
However some of my games aren't working anymore. (How disappointing) Asphalt 6 is force close, GTA III is totally hang, need to remove battery to reset, other games not tested yet.)
The thing i like with the ICS is its User Interface, very professional looking and really looks cool. The new gallery addition is just awesome, animations are great. I have more ram and free storage than GB before. Managing widgets and applications is much easy to do. Multi tasking is also great. I haven't tested all of the features yet but I think that ICS have done some great changes.
Abut the camera, i miss the menus of camera interface in GB. Camera Interface in ICS is totally change. Limited onscreen menus. Have to touch the capacitive button to pop up more menus unlike in GB all options are on the screen. just slide and drag and menus appear.
Music player is the same, the only changes is just you have the ability to play/pause/next/previous buttons in lockscreen.
Browsing webpages is not so easy from its new browser. You can minimize and open multiple browser window. Just great i think...
The new developer option is also awesome. You really have control over the applications and background processes for fast and smooth ics xperience.
Well i almost decided to downgraded from ICS to GB but i think that ics will still have something hidden in its sleeve.. Very stylish UI, professional looking
I just hoping and waiting for the next update for bug fixes and improvements...
Well its up to you if you want to upgrade to ICS or not. For me, I am living with it (ICS)i know that it won't let me down for the future. You have an option, to be updated or outdated. Decide for yourself....

ok..i have decided to upgrade to ICS...so, what changes my phone will get? Will it lag a lot (like some1 was saying) or it will remain normal with awesome interface.

Best of all graphic is great with 32 gb expand and rich,best and wise mini android phone I have ever used with smart key board.It helps in texting message and help playing games.Wile others android is only touch.They dont have like this kind of smart keybord.Should make this much costly.

hi guys. Sonyericsson xperia mini pro is beautiful phone and its camera quality also good. it is better than Samsung phones. its internet speed is well. and most of the apps supported in this mobile. it is one of the cheapest android mobile. thankyou guys

It is beautiful and amazi... moreyes,,There are lots of video files and other necessary files are there in SD card when i bought the phone same thing happened to me, you just have to delete those demo video files (you better do nothing to those other folders,, when i changed the SD I copied those folders and files into the new SDcard and one-thing there are few hidden files which are hidden as protected OS files)

But you wont need it for sure, they're free to delete. To check phone memory status you can go into Application settings in Settings menu or use Astro file manager to check the RAM usage and phone memory usage.
