what is the battery life of the Neo like? The GSMArena review failed to mention battery life, but another website said it wasn't so good. I need a second opinion.

this phone is too much late to reach Asian countries, the buyers are hardly waiting than two months time. If this happens often sony ericsson will loss their market soon.

Nice music player and camera but with some minor issues:
1. Starting time is quite long (longer than the Nokia x6 I used before).
2. I cannot find sound recorder.
3. Shutting down is some complicated (compared with Nokia x6's press and shut).
4. The headset supplied cannot be used to control songs
to be forworded etc..
5. The auto-lock is always on, somewhat annoying.

Even if they are cheap still you have to tell the other party to through their phone and buy this expensive phone to see each other and later pay bills either for expensive unlimited 3G plan or data charged per call. Video call is very cheap and SAMSUNG Galaxy S is providing both Video Call and Video Chat.

[deleted post]It was in 2007 when my carrier in my country launched 3G video call with tariff as the following:
- 0.11 usd per minute (local) up to 0.22 usd per min (long distance)
- compare to voice call $0.03 (local) to $0.09 (long distance call) per minute
(both using the postpaid sim card)
Although 3G video call wasn't that expensive compared to voice call, recently this feature seems already abandoned in my country (by customer and perhaps by carriers also). Currently the unlimited data plan are prefered by most people, so video chat shouldn't be too expensive.

[deleted post]Dude if u seriously want video calling over UMTS network than this is my suggestion ->
Go to official SE support forum and open up one thread(topic) in each of respective forums -> Neo, Play, Pro and ask more & more interested people to comment on those threads and let the discussion reach to SE.
As official SE forum now has 9-10 moderators who help people regarding their queries and also take suggestions and than pass on them to associated department in Sony Ericsson.
If u r able to generate a lot of user interest in video calling over 3G feature in those topics than i'm damn sure that SE will surely implement it in future software updates. Many updates that weren't meant to be provided by SE initially came later on bcoz only of huge interest of people on associated topics on SE Support Forum. So it's ur bet now......
Commenting on Gsmarena isn't going to help at all bcoz there is no SE moderator here to check out people comments.
Ur problem could be easily solved if u rather use all this energy in actively discussing this topic in SE Official Forum.

[deleted post]I never said that google renamed it to video calling.
I just said that this video chat is kind of video calling.
