had the chance to test out the arc and play at a roadshow and neo from a friend that he imported in
comparing all 3 with 4 specs to a older model se fone
sofeware and apps speeds: neo is faster and less lag
standby battary life: neo and play out lives arc
camera and video effect: neo and arc at the same standpoint as for play it lags abit while you are video recording
last bit not least the sound systems: is no where even near my old W995.visually if you're watching a movie on all 3 phones arc and neo will not disappoint you but when it come to the sound it's a real disappointment
if you're planing to but neo and arc for just the facebook and twitter i'd say Play is more then enought to satisfy you,if you gonna go for software and camera i'd say neo and arc, depending on which feel you prefer the slim and lighter touch or the fuller and hands on feel.
and if you're just buying it so to watch video and movies i say no thank you it may have the best HD so far i've seen but the sound doesn't give you the enjoyment.
to truly enjoy a video or a animation you've actually downloaded you need 2 items a clear screen and a good audio,it's god a good visual but the audio isn';t as satifying a walkman fone so far.
i know SE has been improving but to me they have still yet to give me a satisfying andriod walkman fone :) and thanks you for your hard work

Dan, 08 May 2011The phone would be more appealing if it has bigger built-in... more8GB is more than enough I use a N97 with 32gb on board plus they offered me a 16GB micro SD card I can honestly say I never used more than for 4gb.
I also use a K810i with just 4gb micro MS. I use this phone more intensively because it is lighter and has bigger battery so I end up with having much more photos and music and I use about 2gb.
It's a phone, not a mobile hard disk

Have been using it for 10 days now and when comparing it with my son's HTC Desire S, I'm afraid the Neo loses out in many ways except the camera. Overall it isn't as snappy as the Desire S and sometimes it lags in launching applications, this I think is due to the lack of RAM. There're 2 other flaws too which I found frustrating - 1) the call log only shows the persons you called or vice versa and there's no call timer to record your total outgoing or incoming calls. This is a useful feature if you want to know how much talk time you've spent each month. 2) Photos that I took cannot be found in DCIM folder when I connected to my pc. So far I can only tranfer my photos to my pc via BT. Overall it isn't a bad phone but given a choice I would go for the Desire S for a better user's experience

The phone would be more appealing if it has bigger built-in storage. Crazy thing is, SE included an 8-GB microSD. They should have made the internal storage 8GB and even a 2GB free card will be better.

[deleted post]1MB at 1R ? Are you kidding ? This may be true for 2G data plans that comes at 98R for 2GB. Video chat is possible in 3G only and it costs 30p per 20kb. If you calculate it will come to 15R. I can give you the link. Also if i want to make video chat i need to buy 2 android phones with front cam. One for me and one for other as these video chat apps work in android or iphone only.
I want Video call functionality in this phone just like Galaxy S as i am loyal to SonyEricsson.

= ... moreThe 3G HSPA has kicked off this year in India and VIDEO CALL rates in India are very low. Unlike other countries; people are using it here.
When Galaxy S can provide 3G Video call facility in Android one year ago then why can't SonyEricsson ?

GSM-Arena's Reviews - Mobile phone usage report 2011.
= Most missed feature - Video-calling =
"Shock and horror, it’s video- calling in the lead with 22.9%. People who have the feature enabled apparently HAVE NO INTEREST in using it, while those who don’t have video-calls are pretty eager to try them. That’s why we feel that despite the high demand this feature might not substantially gain in popularity in the future– it has been tried and rejected once already."
