Hi guys,
I'm currently using the x10i on 2.3.3 Gingerbread and I'm thinking about buying the Neo but I was concern about the Neo after doing research and read fullreviews on this device. Could someone please answer the following questions:
How's the image and video quality?
How's the call quality? Is the speaker loud?
Battery life?
Is it true that you cannot zoom in camera mode at 8 or 6 megapixel?
Can you zoom in HD mode while recording?

I'd rather go with neo cause I'm not so sure I can take care of arc because its thickness and the massive display. Good luck!

And fixed focus or not, i cited enough examples to show you that the c7 cam Is better. And as for video recording, get yourself a c7. Record a video with it. Then do the same with the neo, And observe the bloody difference. The video recording on the n8 Is not the same as on the c7 or x7, so don't compare it to that. Just use the video compare tool on gsmarena. And fm transmitter can transmit to a wide range of devices, all at the same time. And I'm not pitching in the n8 as it hangs, And to add to the irritation, the battery Is non removable. And it lacks nfc, so it's not exactly future proof.

hthimsson, 02 Aug 2011yo hell boy, it looks like your specs are off. the neo also... moreI have Nokia C7, I was using 5 days and it started to block on every turning on the camera. Every time when I turn camera on it blocks until I pull out the battery and turn back.I send it in service and because they can't fix the phone I make a change. I don't know is this the only one c7 with that problem.

Few things:
I will not start an argument on the facts, but will try to state that C7 is really not an competitor for the Neo...you should pitch in N8 for some competition.....The reasons are listed below....
1. FIXED FOCUS CAMERA????????? in this age??? that Dino age stuff now.....
2. higher RAM = better response.... for demo, try to compare a computer with 1Gb with a computer with 2gB RAM.....
But I agree that SYMBIAN MORE RESOURCE EFFECTIVE THAN ANDROID and hence there would be no difference....... so what the fuss????
3. The AMOLED screen and the LCD in XPERIA performs similarly...(Really you are not testing it in the LAB..... for the human eye....I could not see the difference) same color saturations... only Samsung's Super AMOLED is better....
4. I am owning an N8 for 6 months...never really used the FM transmitter, except to amuse few unsuspecting frnds... besides you are not going to start a new FM radio service with it....range is pretty low (2-3 mtrs max).
5. Sorry, but Adreno GPU is better than BCM and 1Ghz processor is higher than say...... 600 Mhz..... but again there would be very little difference since it is Symbian.....
6. Android...being Android is more of an eye candy....(that doesn't matter to me though, but there are lot of users to whom it matters....a lot)....
7. You really dont need penta-band HSPA except to have bragging rights.....If I am right... almost all of the current operators are using 2100 band, few in Americas are using 1900 and some very selected 850... believe me using HSDPA in GSM frequencies such as 900 and 1800 is very difficult and very expensive and most operators will not be using it....(FYI.... I am working in this telecom stuff for a some time now)..
8. The MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT ANNOYS ME ABOUT THE C7 IS THE WAY IT IS DESIGNED TO LOOK..... I am not saying that it should be an eye-candy......but at least it should look like something well worth it.....
9. You can say about the same 720p HD video recording on both the handsets, but lets put the fact straight....... 25fps versus 30fps..... and the mobile bravia engine works......it does.....
