Hello guyz :) m avi from Delhi, India. I am using a "WHITE SE Neo V" for last 6 months i brought it for Rs.18,000/-($326), as far as i know it's an awesome phone, nice sound nice display nice battery life the video recording is awesome. It's a very smooth & beautiful phone. It's running on Android 2.3.4. I am planning it to upgrade from gingerbread to ice cream sandwich by using Sony PC Companion but m getting an error again & again. Friend's suggest me weather i need to upgrade it to ICS or i will stick to GG ????

                      Kindly suggest ..... AVI

But here is one thing i dont understand- in 2g Operators claim 32- 48 kBps , our neo can give max 237kbps (as per gsmarena) or 29 kBps, but i have yet to see anyone get avg speed above 17- 18kBps , which is fraudulent inducement n liable for penalty by consumer court.
I complained to them n on unsatisfactory resolution complained to Docomo Appellatte ...
if they also dont resolve where should consumer go? CNBC AWAZ- PEHREDAR ?

In my opinion, a phone having 1ghz CPU and Adreno 205 GPU plus 512 ram it will run Android ICS smoothly, but for XPERIA NEO V having 480x854 screen resolution it will cause a lot of minor problems because i think ICS is more on graphic enhancement than performance and we all know that graphic runs in higher resolution needs a higher hardware specs, so if you want ICS in ur phone i suggest SONY LWW or SONY XPERIA MINI PRO , but i would prefer Sony LWW. (sorry for my grammar)tnx.

WEBHEAD, 17 Jul 2012Man ! Those are too high values ! I don't get more than 10-... moreYa raju i qlso used speedtest but funny thing is even when i used only speedtest it used a whopping 10 megaBytes just to check both times!!!
webhead, raju is saying in terms of bits ie 8-12 Bytes per second, about the sqme as yours.
These tel cos. try to mislead by saying Mb not MB as 7.2Mbps is NOT 7.2Megabytes but 0.72 Megabytes or 720 kilo Bytes..Huge difference of 1/10ths... the a$$holes should stick with the common term but hey marketing strategy, what looks bigger will be lucrative for customer..
any Airtel user pls share ur speeds as well, have heard its more than 20 kBytes per second..
N i haven't seen any "tricks" working, so if anyone has a working trick also share..
