nice sound, especially earphones
call quality is good
3.5 mm audio jack
nice screen - good contrast
nice touch - very responsive
nice battery
good camera
good for gaming - its fast, has good design
good design - stays well in hand its a bit slippery though, looks good, has buttons for power, volume, 2 state button for camera, led indicating the power status when charging - green = fully charged, orange = medium charged, red - low battery

Xperia neo v.....just an awesome phone guys....i m using this phone since last 2 month and i m still on gb 2.3.4.....i read many opinion about ics and every one is saying the gb is more stable....so i didn't go for ics....every body shoud know that in this range or even more range , no any phone satisfies all the requirements wee need....but if u go for a little compromise(internal memory and battrey back up)..i can bet that no any phone can beat this phone in any field.....many pepole think that battrey back up is not good....if u r also thinking like this then please dont go for any android phone...no any android phone wil suit your need....as i m living in bhubaneswar,odisha., no electricity problem here....so i never bother about the battrey back up....the graphics in this phone is much better than many phone even in very high range....so if your budget is upto 20k, after buying this phone u will have 4000 rupees in your pocket out of your budget......so dont think much because i already spent more than 1 month for research the best phone under 20k range and finally i came to this phone and then stopped my research and got this phone......and i feel proud when my friends tell me that , raushan...u got the best phone i ever seen....love u xperia neo v....:-)

To anyone having difficulty using PC Companion to upgrade to ICS from GB, try clicking Start under the Support section. It needs to be downloaded for upgrade to work. It's only 2mb.
After upgrading my neo v OS to ICS 4.0.3, it started running beautifully and I have to say that the new OS is minimalistic and lovely to use. I had heard of a lag in speed and response time. Since that happens on my laptop when storage and memory is low, I decided to try something.
I downloaded Linda file manager and checked through all files for excess data/caches and duplicates. This is what I found. This is for proficient users only. Do not follow or you could accidentally delete or damage valuable system folders
1. DCIM folder contains image, thumbnails and 3d thumbnails folders. The last two create unnecessary repeat thumbnail files of your images. Delete those folders and move your pictures to an outside image folder. You will notice the difference immediately on all levels of your device.
2. Delete any excess cache or data files you do not need from apps. Be careful.
3. Disable, from settings/apps, any apps that you do not frequently use to save RAM.
4. Uninstall any apps that do not have purpose on your device. Think storage space.
5. Stop downloading everything on google play. Get real.
PS: If all this is too much work for you, it's okay to cry and whine...or better yet, buy a Nokia 3310.

Neo V has a usefull specification. It has tv out with HDMI support. With this you can upgrate your tv to smart tv!!!

I have installed the xperia S player ( aka blue Walkman icon Player) but there is Equalizer and other sound effects option .
