Hey everyone I'm looking into getting my first Android phone, and I'm considering the Defy+, Xperia Neo V or the Xperia Sola. How is the Neo V, does it suffer from a lot of lag, how is the battery under normal usage and is the ICS upgrade working well on the phone? Thanks for any replies.

Good features and display and stuff but gets so hot, had to limit its use to the internet and occasional net calls (onlly with handsfree) pretty crappy for a company like sony

But shortage of 8MP camera sensors forced Sony to either stop production of the Neo or release a handset having exact same hardware except for the 8mp camera sensor replaced with a 5MP. This five megapixel gave the moniker V (I.e Five in Roman numerical) to the Xperia Neo name. So basically Sony saved itself from a huge loss as the PCBs of the handset were already manufactured and stopping production of a popular handset would have scarred it's reputation.
Hence, Neo is as much official as Neo v. Just that the Neo's production has ceased.

hey i want to ask is xperia neo is unofficial smartphone???im from malaysia and i wanted to buy xperia neo but theres only xperia neov and i read in a phone magazine they said that the xperia neo is unoficial and also i go check to sony website theres no xperia neo but only neo v...why only xneov???

Now its battery backup improved its lasting upto 25 to 26 hours and its performance is very good,nice touch response no lags and excellent sound.

to upgrade connect to pc companion. must hav apps,task killr,app2sd,astro manager,flashlight,audio manager(hide it pro),use minimum of class 6 microsdcard,pixlormatic for foto effects,temple run wil lag,evn wid new ics update.wait for update.
