AnonD-542, 28 Apr 2012I updated mine to ICS too but I didn't face a single proble... moreBuddy, actually i use internet in my mob so i keep my data traffic enabled, so wen my android was 2.3.4, de battery backup was good!! but wen updated to 4.0 its a bit lower dan before n moreova i tried using it by disabling de data traffic, de battery backup was really pretty gud as we all know dat!!... n abt de apps!! i usually dwnload app from google play so wen i browse dem, will google play show me de apps dat are suitable for ICS or generally as NEO.V not bothering abt de OS?? :)n one more thing, to my surprise some of my widgets too are not functionin prprly!! :(

Guys Im about to buy a new phone and my choices are Nokia N8 and Sony Ericsson Neo V....which do you think is much better?...TIA

Hi,
I'm using NEO V, i realize that during using earpiece, if got incoming call or message, my earpiece and HP both can hear the incoming tone, is there a way to set if using earpiece, only earpiece hear the tone but HP set is silence?

No heating, no freezing, no battery drain....etc. Just keep in mind that gingerbread apps usually doesn't work. So update all your apps and they will be perfectly compatible with your handset.

I hn buyed sony ericsson xperia neo v.....it is a awesome smart phone....works fast...gud battery backback...n i hv upgrade it to 4.0..n it is mindblowin...it really works faster than android 2.3.4.....fablaous phone...n also worthy....must buy!!!!!!luv u neo v....m enjoyin usin it,.

Just upgrade to ICS about 3days. Everything goes very smooth. Improve screen shoot, Camera interface, call function, multitask control ..etc. fantastic!!!!

while buying this phone i was n a bit confusion //but now after using this phone for 1 month i doesnt have a confusion at all , it is such a wonderfull phone , good battery life , stylish , superb, thanks Sony

I have been using this phone since 2 months... Its a great smartphone.
Please dont experiment yourself on your phone...
I would like to suggest to get update to ICS by customer care... Its a double update... You cant update it as properly by your pc or lappy...
Wifi and internet settings has to be installed properly otherwise it will be too slow or disconnect by itself...
For server data users...
Go to settings
-sony ericsson
-internet setting
-accept and apply settings.
Enjoy yourself...

updated my neo v to ICS 4.0... its really awesome, but the mobile gets heatened up more dan wat it does usually b4, n battery gets drained much faster, tried disabling de background data but even tho no use coz it automatically gets enabled wytout notifyin us, which is really strange!!!!.. n yeah sometimes apps closes automatically n fails to open wen tryin it again n again, sony needs some more better improvemnt hope it releases de bug fixes soon!! waitin for it!!! awesome phone in its range lovin it!!... hpe all these gets reverted on de new bugfix release!!! :)
n do any of yu ppl find these prblms in yur deivice??

Recently upgraded my neo v to ics... Everything works fine... But problem is vibrates 2to3 times whenever I touch screen once...! Any solutions for this irritating problem...?

Wonderful phone...but wifi acess is problem with some wifi networks as it does not support...hope sony rectifies it soon...otherwise a cute chic in hand

it decrease hd video recording frame rate.
bad experiance with it.
