Sony Ericsson Russia has confirmed that the Xperia Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will start in March 2012. The first update will be for the Xperia arc S, neo V and ray models between March to April 2012.
The rest of the 2011 Xperia range (Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia Pro, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia active and Live with Walkman) will then see the ICS update in late April to early May 2012. This is broadly what we expected, although we’re not entirely sure why some of Sony Ericsson’s most popular models (Xperia arc and Xperia PLAY) are not getting their updates sooner.
SE Russia says that it is due to the integration of additional features such as the PlayStation Launcher, Facebook Inside Xperia or the four corner UI seen in the Xperia mini family and the Xperia active. It is great to finally have a firm idea as to when we can expect the ICS update and end the speculation. Now all we have to do is wait.

Is it normal when I close time scape after using that it would take some time for some apps to show up on the screen? Like they are trying to reload? it seems to be consuming a lot of RAM when I open apps, is there a way where you can close certain apps so that it won't used up so much RAM?

ICS isn't coming this month. Maybe in March. You just keep track of gsmarena.com and you will know when it comes.

Bought Neo v 2 weeks ago and had it replaced twice because of dead pixels.. Now I check camera and i find purple colour in almost every pic (day and night).
Please any advice should i get it replaced again or can it be fixed by some software? :(

i already received a notification from the update center that i can upgrade my neo v to 4.0,but when i install the SE pc companion in my pc and sync it to my unit after i installed,it can't be upgraded,i cannot open also the pc companion installed in my pc.what can i do?pls help..thanks

is there any battery pack higher than 1500mAh that we can buy in the market,coz i found out that my neo v was very easy to become low of battery, without 24hrs i need to recharge again...so maybe i should decide to buy a back up battery.

i bought my neo v 2 weeks ago and i found it satisfactorily in my opinion,though it had an impressive specs but still it is very easy to become low of battery, is there any extra battery pack we can buy in the market that higher than 1500amp?

Most phones automatically select their desired network, so if there is a 3G coverage in ur area it will be auto set to 3G frequencies but if u move to a area without 3G coverage then u will be automatically moved to 2G frequencies :)
