Neo v also have some defective pieces ... but except purple fringe everything can be repaired ...and very few users have reported it .. so no need to worry about it either
the Specs are same .. u wont get a physical keyboard in Neo v .. but the screen and performace is excellent .. go for Neo v undoubtedly

AnonD-542, 02 Feb 2012Hmmm......did you do that through phone or did some sort of... morewell i have a broadband connection so did it via PC companion .. yes dont even think about doing it from 2g lol...well do it when ur wifi hotspot arrives or directly update to ICS ur wish ..u dont have any problm in ur phone so doest matter much .. but i have heard that we might get 2.3.7 before ics .. not really sure if its gonna happen or not ...

160 will be a suicide in 2G. 3G not activated yet. WiFi nowhere to find. My WiFi hotspot is yet to arrive. I guess I should wait one more month till the ICS update..... what say???

i too was worried but i asked sony mods and they said to go ahead with it .. so i updated my phone .. and it is now more stable i believe .. so dont worry about it and update ur phone

well in either of them make sure your net connection is working fine and your battery is more then 50% .. dont worry that much and go ahead update ur phone
