Your query is a bit confusing, 3.5mm is the audio standard. I think what you mean is 1/4" jacks which the bigger or upmarket headphones use. There are standard 1/4" to 3.5mm adaptors out there, they have been around for a very long time and if you do get one get one that gold plated!

Ok, so I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V wich supports headphones with 3.5 mm audio connector and most of the new headphones use 4 mm that does not work with that phone. Some good headphones use 3 mm audio connector... will that work with my phone?

when i turn on my phone, the word sony, then xperia will appear, but after that it will shut down, then it will automatically turn on and same words appears then, again, it shuts down,,, the whole cycle keep on repeating until i remove my battery..... i can no longer use my phone,,,, plz help me,,, what will i do?
