Android root is nothing other than you becoming the super user of your phone!!You can change the behaviour of the phone in whatever you want.
If you are a beginer,I highly recommed to stay out of it cause you will void your warranty .in the course of rooting or anything modding ,any thing happens ,you may end up in bricking the phone. Yes there are positive sides of doing the rooting like downclocking it for a better battery back up or partitioning your SD card so that internal memory will be endless instead of this 320MB or overclocking to speed it etc etc..BUT DO NOT attempt if unless you are a expert

frnds whenever i am enabling my data connection some apps are automatically gets opened like facebook,market,etc in the background(in running apps) plz tell me how to stop that....

This is one of the best phones i have used,
previously i have used O2 XDA s2 mini,BB 8320, Samsung Wave 2,etc...
but this phone is really great in terms of looks and features...
it has everything i need 5mp camera.../ and the music play back is loud, the video is very clear the bravia engine is cool and the battery is good tooo... as compared to other snart phones....
but what i don't like about this phone is the way they have attached the charger and hdmi covers on the phone...they can improve the plastic quality of the back battery covers...over all on this price range i wd give it 7.9 /10 .....buy it ppl.... its all you can get in this price range...None Other fone gives you all these features...
