Now that its been established that this "neo V" Can Not do Video Calling on cellular network (meaning 3G not wifi or internet) Is there any way to enable it in some way.
It has the hardware, Samsung uses Android as well and it has this feature, so its software locked in some way.
Is there any hack/mod/application to enable this?

Xperia Neo v is awesome.just 7 day i used the phone it has a good cam,good interface,good gpu & also faster processor with hdmi port.In my point of view neo v beat xperia arc.

I have some questions regarding Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V.
1] What is the SAR (radiation) value of Neo V?
Is it 1.10 W/kg? If yes, isn't it too high?
2] Is "MT11i" the other/technical name of Neo V?
3] How is the battery performance of this mobile?
4] Are there any hanging/heating/rebooting issues?
Waiting for the replies.
Else the phone looks promising.

i think neo is better.. since it has 8mp camera.. and also.. its os can be updated to the one on neo V.. ;)

hi guys i m thinking to buy sony erricson xperia neo or neo v or a samsung wave 2. Can any body help me which will be best for battery life.camera mostly on gaming .. What about the service... And plz define the zooming clarity of neo and neo v.. 16x or 2x.. Coz in some sites tells neo v has 16 x zoom while neo has only 2x ..

I hv baught it...its too good...great gaming experience..n too fast..hd vidro recordin is owesome..great sound..its best in looks android phone...samsung n htc looks like cheap toys..infront of my SE Xperia Neo V..

I have got the NEO and find it a brilliant phone, like a mini laptop, with a camera, oh and the camera is 8mp not 5 as stated in the specs, you can have skype videocalls too, personally i think knocks 10 bells out of iphone 4

Well, I guess that the choice between Neo and Neo V depends on your budget. If you have no restrictions, then Neo as the camera is much better. However, Neo V adpats to a lower segment of the market, more affordable and almost same quality. however, the Neo V has improved the screen viewing outdoors, and Android is updated so... I will go for the Neo V as the camera is not so important for me, but then again, if you really need a 8Mp cam go for the old one.
