Because whenever I try to download songs it's showing "MUSIC and WINAMP PLAYER" and after that it starts playing song instead of downloading it.....???? Please tell how to download songs....???? AnonD-72213, 18 Sep 2012pls can u give me reasons why neo v far better than live? there are some major differences. neo-v's display is LED-backlit LCD 3.7 (480x854/265ppi) lww has simple 3.2 tft hvga (320x480/180ppi). neo-v's camera produces realistic images with more details while lww's camera produces images with yellowish tint n less details. neo-v has HDMI port also. so mainly for these features you'll have to pay 3-4k more....

Don't upgrade to ICS. Nowhere near as responsive as Gingerbread.

aki, 19 Sep 2012guys dont buy this mobile if u r planning to..its a defecti... moreYou just had bad luck, I bought one locally manufactured on my country (you expect the worst possible quality)(Argentina), and apart from the erratic screen slide gesture, and the low audio of the recorded videos (something common of others Xperia)the cellphone is great for what you paid. The buttons are a little annoying, but are just small details.

the best phone ever of its category..perform superb. but be careful dont update it to ICS. you will lost the real charm of the phone. go for it

guys dont buy this mobile if u r planning to..its a defective manufaturing from sony for developing countries..it has serious sliding key and touch problems which even service station cannot fix. they wil keep ur mobile for repairing for for months and wil never respond to ur complains. post sale service sucks..buy this if u wanna invite problems

If you have ever used a Windows phone 7.5 (Omnia W, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 etc) you would know what 'smoothness' actually means. Jellybean is THAT smooth.... its the smoothness that make even iPhone users drool over android phones. Multitasking improved (eg: hold home button....1 sec...multitask previews show up.....immediately scroll the previews....NO LAG!!! ) That should explain a bit about the smoothness I am talking of here. After GB update to ICS all launchers started lagging .....now its even more smoother than GB.... Hell!!! Even Launcher 7 responds perfectly (as if you are using a windows phone). Scroll the Tiles and you will see them flow....scroll the menu and you will see them glide....WHATEVER you do....everything happens at 60fps.....
In short....JellyBean makes our phone COMPLETE......

Its easier to explain while chatting....
Basically you will have to follow some methods. First is the unlocking thing. But before that some learning....

Everything explained....(you probably know these....but still)
1. Bootloader unlocking: http://www.androidegis.com/how-to/how-to-unlock-bootloader-of-sony-ericsson-xperias-phones/
2. Transfer rom files to SD card. (for links...rom zip, gaps etc.....Facebook...)
2. Installing a Kernel (click the first link to know what it does....or I will explain in facebook.....lets just say that its the BIOS of our smartphone...). I will upload a few small files to you (I made up my own easy and safe method....cheers...)
3. Kernels have inbuilt cwm installed. So you are good to go once you enter cwm (you know how....). Inside cwm you have to clear some cache and then flash zip. And after that gaaps .... Details.....facebook.
4. Done....

I don't care about my phone warranty as my phone is now seven months old and i don't think I'll goto service center for any service to claim free service. Hence I'll unlock my phone bootloader. Moreover, Sony is not going to release jellybean soon and i want to use stable jellybean if you recommend me a good custom ROM.
Please give me details and your experience/opinion on jellybean ROM which you are using. My email id is rajugsg2702 at outlook dot com.

Sony has an official method of unlocking but it will void your warranty for ever. Mine gone too (and i don't give a damn about it....:P ...)...
Before we begin anything....you HAVE to do some research. Will provide you every details but first tell me if you can live without warranty (rooting voids warranty too but its reversible ...unlocking bootloader is irreversible) .....
