this phone seems like has many weak points,do u know about it.think urself.many,many things have 2 correct in tis phone.i suggest tat se can cr8 a psp play 2 which can play hd games,i dun like those low graphics games,i like hd,oh se

400 mb ... moreGSM Arena wrote (assume it's correct) 400 MB of internal memory and 380 of RAM. So I guess it is possible that this phone has ROM 1GB whereas 400 MB is accessible for user and 512 MB RAM whereas max available on standby is 380 MB (another option is total RAM 386 MB like X10 has)

400 mb is the internal memory of Xperia play.
Have u ever seen any device with unusual amount of ram...? Ram is always in multiples like 64mb > 128mb > 256mb > 512mb > 1024mb(1gb) & so on...
Internal memory is something else.
I can give u some examples-
Samsung galaxy s has 512 mb ram but when gsmarena reviewed it they found out 368mb to be user available.
Internal memory of x8 is listed as 128 mb but ram of x8 is 256mb.
In same way internal memory of nokia C5 is 50mb while ram is 128mb.
Internal memory never represents RAM of a phone.
The new samsung galaxy s II has 16gb internal memory but that doesn't mean that is has 16 gb ram but ram in galaxy s II is 1024mb(1 gb).
So... stop worrying, ram is 512 mb.

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2011Ya i know its ram not storage, but still currently all the... moreEarlier, the phone internal memory was very important because you can't install apps to the SD card, after the 2.2 version, apps can be installed to SD, so it's a bit pointless to have so much RAM and make the phone too expensive, because high speed NAND flash memory is always at it's premium price...

Guys... now it's almost official that we will see a LTE flagship phone from SE pretty soon.
The recently announced phones by SE like Arc, neo, pro & play aren't flagship devices from any side, so this forthcoming new LTE device could easily be a dual core powerhouse.
Morover SE is also considering Android tablets.

guys don't be ridiculous,battery of this device is like battery on my samsung galaxy s ,that means you'll be playing some game for 30min and after that you'll have 10% of your battery life..they just don't wanna give us better battery ,thats all about 'wanna be gaming console devices'
