Now that I actually own one for 2 weeks, and in comparison to my old N95 8GB, this phone has never crashed on my once since day one. NEVER!!
Man, you'll never get bored with this phone. The gaming library is so vast and the gamepad is perfect for old skool or modern games. I have hard time choosing what to play.
I have only 1 complaint. The 8 GB SD card that came free just ain't enough! Getting a 32 GB soon :)
Today just watched 720p Source code 2011 movie on the train with my bluetooth headset and it only used 5% of my battery. AWESOME.

I got this phone for about a month and i can say it really a very good phone.
As a normal phone its good and dont have any problems using it.
on gaming side- i think it better than other phones due to the play station game pad.
Not everyone of us will be satisfied with the phone as each of us have different needs with mobile phones but SE lovers are surely going to like it.

Can you use the slide out gaming control to control the cursor in web and text input say in Email and sms for precision.

This phone looks expensive (£400) and this may put people off but if you scout around on eBay you can find a new one for less than £250 from a trusted seller. This should work in the xperia play's favour.

Harde core h/s only the internal memory is a challenge , eslse the video recording the buttons on the play pad,the looks are amazing & unique . Love the NFS shift on it :)
