AnonD-4340, 20 Dec 2011hey man, i have them both. Desire Z is superior for watchin... moreI have used both too and would go for the Xperia Pro.
The Desire Z has a slower processor, and I disagree about the HTC's "Z-hinge" - the slider on the Pro feels more solid to me. The Pro has a better camera, and the software on Pro is better too IMO.
The screen of the Desire Z may show deep blacks, but the Pro has a very bright and clear screen.
I also prefer the ergonomics of the Pro, though don't like the fingerprint-prone surface.

AnonD-34685, 18 Dec 2011Hello, can someone please tell me should i buy this phone o... morehey man, i have them both. Desire Z is superior for watching videos, much better display and supports more video formats in hardware decoding. Excellent viewing angles, good battery life, and the Z-hinge is superior to any sliding keyboard mechanism. Disadvantage of teh HTC Desire Z is same as other HTC models; unstable and lagging, some of it is typical android flaws but HTC has additional flaws and lags more than any other brand because of HTC Sense.
Xperia Pro has an inferior display but far less lag and it doesnt hang, surely more reliable than any HTC. The keyboard is far better as well, and the cam also has some advantages over HTC. So if display isnt the most important for you then you should absolutely get Xperia Pro. The cheap plastic build is not bad and it is no doubt the plastic gives better signal quality in remote areas than the HTCs "EM-Shield" metal construction.

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2011That is weird - I do not have that problem. It only gets sl... morewhy do you even reply? We know you dont have any problems at all with your phone, yours is perfect. I wonder if you even have one of these or if you are a fanboy with an old SE T300 who comes here to troll.
Now about the heat, i dont find it to be that hot, try to use an SGS for an hour with the charger plugged in and then you will know how hot is a overheated phone. And still they survive.
HOw hot is too hot? Even only 60 degrees celsius is so hot that it will burn your skin, u cant touch it for much more than a second. and 60 celsius is still cold for a silicone chip. SO dont worry, your fones are not carbon based lifeforms, an internal heat of 100+ celsius (hotter than boiling water) will not damage anything.

Hi, is it Not possible to use a different brand of headset in these set of phones.. When I try using a samsung headphones it says "Device Not Supported". I think its useless that they made it a 3.5mm jack if you can only use Sony Ericsson Headphones in it.. Not to mention I really dont like the In-Ear headphones and would prefer the old type.. Is there a workaround for this issue??
Thanks!

Perhaps you have some application that is running in the background and consuming CPU. Install the Watchdog app to check.

... moreso this is just a flash as a flashlight, not a flash (blitz) in the camera as usual. what a pity when the tests performed by GSMArena, this phone produces natural colors. if SE add xenon flash on this phone, then it would be a great great handset.
i really hope in future they would add a xenon flash on the phone that has great specs like this one.
c'mon SE...!! i love you...!!

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2011i want to know about video calling, anti scratch screen, so... moreArc and Pro are essentially the same with all these things, except Pro has a front camera, keyboard, and slightly smaller (though same resolution and hence sharper) screen.
Neo is essentially Pro without keyboard, though screen, camera and speaker marginally better on Pro (well according to GSMArena tests).
Pro also comes with office editing and antivirus software that others don't.
