Kindly let me knw if this phone has the following features.
1. Gesture response - like if u wave ur hand across the screen without touching it, say.., it should give a response.. lyk changing to next pic etc.
2. Voice dialling - Dial a number with a voice command.
If not, let me knw which android applications are available to perform the above said functions. Thanx in advance. :)

I restarted the phone twice before I changed everything in LiveWare manager and nothing happened either
should I bring the phone back to the store for a substitution?

I just got my xperia pro a couple days ago, I tried to connect the earphones (included in the box) but then, a msg popped out "accessory not supported" and the earphone made some strange bass beats for a few seconds,
any suggestions to fix this, anyone?

To do that you first need to set Xperia Pro's Bluetooth to discoverable first (Settings->Wireless & Network->Bluetooth Settings->Discoverable). Then in Windows add it to Devices and Printers (delete first if already present) and choose to pair the device with the confirmation code.

Hi,
Guys need some help.. I am trying to send a file to my xperia pro using bluetooth file transfer wizard on my windows 7 laptop..it is unable to find my device..Xpro is not able to find my laptop as well..both devices are able to find other devices..comments and suggestion plz...

I got the notification about the update late last night, I, too, like many others thought it was actually ICS seeing the 4.0 build number, but anyway I installed it, took more than half an hour with all the downloads and everything.
I noticed the phone is slighly more smooth and reponsive now, apart from that I haven't noticed anything new at all, has anybody figure out the changes/improvements?

AnonD-4340, 22 Nov 2011My fone just popped up notification about new software avai... moreThat is not Ice Cream Sandwich - it is still Android Gingerbread 2.3.4. The 4.02 is referring to the Sony Ericsson software build number.
That SE 4.02 update is, however, excellent - it seems to improve performance and makes the phone interaction VERY smooth. (even smoother than the older software with which reviewers were saying that the interface was silk-smooth!)
Just wait a couple of months and we will get Android Ice Cream Sandwich too :D

It also does not slow down your phone at all, and has negligible effect on the battery. You have complete control over when it runs and scans. It only scans when you install a new program or when you schedule it to - if you do a full scan it is very fast.
With the popularity of Android, malware writers are going to target it as they target Windows. Anti-virus on Android is becoming as essential as it is on Windows.
The other security features are also very good, such as the ability to remotely lock, remotely backup, remotely wipe and remotely track your phone with GPS.
