Saw it, bought it, I LOVE IT!!! Considering I hated some of the some phones I used in the past (which had Android) this one surpasses every expectation and could be used as a netbook replacement by far.
The phone has noise filtering so voice calls are crystal clear and the loudspeaker has a decent volume (sound doesn't distort even with high volume).
The camera takes some of the best pictures I saw for a non dedicated camera-phone and thanks to the 3D Sweep Panorama you can see your pictures in 3D (considering you hade a 3D capable device to display the pictures). On the video section, I consider the HD video capabilities are just above average.
The sound quality can be rated as very good, but you'll have to buy some better earphones than the included ones in order to fully enjoy your music and videos. Considering that a compatible and good pair of earphones cost 30 to 70 US Dollars, it rests some value to the phone, considering its cost of 400 US dollars.
Internet navigation worked fine with both WiFi and EDGE, GPRS, etc. and when it comes to multitasking the Xperia Pro is a champ.
The main "downside" I found is the battery life. Although SE claims the phone can play up to 31 hours of music, in my experience it only managed to last for 14-19 hours (.m4a files at 128kpbs with WiFi, bluetooth and such disabled). If you use the phone like a maniac (Make and receive many calls during the day, use WiFi, listen to music or play a game ocassionally) expect to charge the battery every day, and if you're in the video hype, then take the charger with you. I'm sure the battery life can cause some concern among some people, but in my experience that's a common issue with Smarphones and can solved by using some of the widely available energy saving apps for Android. When used wisely, the battery can last up to 2 days, but it depends on how much stress you put on your phone [and your life :P]
Despite that, the Xperia Pro is a great phone and as I said I love it, but you must be aware of all its potential so it can be used properly.

Hello,
This is my opinion about Xperia pro.
I bought this phone last Friday.
Goods Xperia:
1- Very good design it’s my first QWERTY keyboard and my 2nd android phone after Xperia x8
2- The keyboard is just perfect, it seems i use PC’s keyboard and you can change language from one button.
3- Camera place is good for not touching it with your fingers.
4- Very good screen (color, size) to watch videos (video tilt right and left to landscape full screen mode).
5- Touch is great, fast and no lags
6- No reboot problems
7- Application can move 2sd card but not all.
8- There is Call blocking settings (incoming, outgoing).
9- Call quality is good.
Bads Xperia.
1- The back cover shaky problem (near the volume rocker) I have the same problem with the shaky back cover xperia x8.
2- The phone is big, you can control it with one hand but not comfortable (I have big fingers).
3- Loud speaker quality is disappointed, the quality is not good and the sound level is below average even you activate Xloud, (xloud didn’t make any difference if you listen to music with hand free). My xperia x8 have better quality and loudness than Xperia pro.
4- The battery as usual you have to charge it every night maybe less if you are a moderate user.
5- Hard to use camera button to take shot (when you press it with your finger the other fingers will move the slide up).
6- The sun legibility is not good, it’s hard to see the screen in the direct sun light.
Forgive me if I forget anything, and if anyone have any question, I’m ready for it.
Thank you all.

AnonD-4340, 17 Oct 2011im getting one as an additional unit to replace my crappy H... moreSamsung have NO problems with "rebooting"!
HTC change things in the Android-code so rebooting is definetly not an "Android-problem" but a HTC-problem!

im getting one as an additional unit to replace my crappy HTC Desire Z, nokia N9 wil be my new main, cant trust Android for my main fone, i need something solid and reliable there but also want a qwerty fone for texting with my sluts =)
About rebooting, the android fanboys dont wanna talk about this, but its an issue with Android itself and not with the various fone models. Android is nervous on some hardware drivers, this causes the hangs and reboots seen on many fones, you can see it on HTC, the same hardware running WP7 does not hang like their android counterparts, thats some very strong evidence that android itself is the weak part.
These problems does not get fixed with upgrades, everyone who know about compiling linux kernels can confirm that the problem is inherited from one verson to the next, coz the same module sources are used in 2.2 and 2.3 for compiling the affected kernel modules. Even a custom ROM will not help then.
