You can NOT make Video calls like you normally do in W995, Hazel etc. You can not use your Network's Video calling facility.
You can use Fring or Yahoo software. You can not use Skype video calling as only iPhone supports this. These 3rd party softwares eats lot of data for video call.
If you want to Video call your home then make sure they have an another phone which supports 3rd party video calling like this phone. That means another android phone with secondary camera or may be an iPhone.
THERE ARE LOT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE WAITING FOR SONY ANDROID WITH SECONDARY CAMERA. But they will regret at the vary moment when they will try to make video call for the first time and the option would be unavailable. Immediate thought Money wasted on Android. Android is not evolved yet.
Better to buy W995i or Hazel with GPS and WiFi and excellent music player with 3G video call.

amit, 18 Apr 2011Hi dear...m using E7 since a month..the qwerty keyboard is ... moreOnly 360 x 640 pixels on a 4.0 inches screen is not enough, and only 256 MB RAM is not enough, but 176 g is to much, and fixed focus camera is unusable for business-use..., and good support for Symbian will not exist after late 2012, even with "Anna" web-browser is too slow, wait for SE xperia Pro!

The Xperia Pro is a Quadband GSM & 3G phone so of course it will work with AT&T 3G.

My only reason for not purchasing the E7 was that its OS has been discontinued and nokia is now moving to WP7.
I prefer android and am eagerly awaiting the release of the SE xperia pro!

i love SE, 15 Apr 2011hey frnd,what is 2.46 smart zoom,is their any big differenc... moreSmart Zooming and digital zooming... both basically are methodes of decreasing the apparent angle of view of a digital image, however Smart Zoom works in a different way to digital zoom. It's cleverer and does not degrade the quality of the photo. The downside of this type of zoom is that we cannot use the full resolution of our camera when using Smart Zoom. So if you set the resolution of neo or arc's camera to 8 Mp, this smart zoom option will not become available, looking at the specs that they have up to 2.46x zoom, I guess you can only use smart zoom at max 2 Mp resolution to result a cropped 5 Mp (4.92 megapixels) image.
Compare to a standard digital zoom method, the smart zoom works in a similar way to a photo editing package - you took a high resolution image then you used a photo editing software to cut out the center of the shot and throw away the remainder of the picture you no longer want. Smart Zoom is able to do this within the camera itself. While digital zoom is accomplished by cropping an image down to a centered area with the same aspect ratio as the original, and usually also interpolating the result back up to the pixel dimensions of the original.
