Hi,Yesterday I've bought the black pro and s iii too, I love its camera and keyboard. Its an awesome phone!But I will not upgrade it to ICS.It performs very well with GB not ICS.

this is really good one,,im already update to ics 4.0.4 via sony update service..very faster smooth,,,keyboar not use coz on touch screen really cool

Hi - whoever want to upgrade this to ICS - don't do - it performs very well with GB not ICS. Though sony provided a 2nd ICS update to solve many issues, I am not satisfied and went back to GB - now everything is fine (can play my games e.g. Temple Run w/o issues)

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2012just download advance task killer pro thanks but i returned d phone to d dealer yesterday only (as i had downloaded dis application and 2 other such apps...but d problems continued)....and now i will be getting replacement handset in 2-3 days.....now plz tell me wat precautions to b taken....and should i upgrade it to ICS or keep it to Gingerbread only.......i want to play HD games like Temple Run, FIFA12 on dis phone....!!!

Hello Friends, i bought dis black beauty 2 days ago and m loving it totallly...camera clearity, sound, looks, UI....evrythng is jst awesome......bt only problem m having right now is battery problem....d charging gets down in quick time (i tried few things such as putting off bravia engine, lessen d brightness bt still of no use).....also d phone starts to heat up after playing games like Temple Run for 10-15 mins...(i had updated d phone to ICS immediately wen i bought it...so are these problems bcoz of dat ???....guys please help me out n tell me solution for dis !!!

I bought this phone thinking I was buying a solid product from a reputable manufacturer. Unfortunately I have found this not to be the case. My wife needed a new phone and really liked the keyboard on the Xperia Pro and I wanted a bigger screen so I bought a Samsung Galaxy S2X and gave her the Xperia Pro. Since my carrier is different than the wife's I tried to get the phone unlocked. I've tried unlock codes and even took it to a couple of phone stores that used some 'test point method' without success. I'm now reading this phone has some sort of MCU security that prevents unlocking.
What the heck is that all about? Did Sony think I'd stay with the same carrier all my life?
I'm truly disappointed and out hundreds of $$ as the Xperia Pro is useless (can't find anyone to sell it to) and I still have to buy another phone for my wife.
I've really been ripped off by Sony.
